1. Give it to the senior! Andy with some unbelievably huge stones with those shots! Wow does he have range!
2. M2N. Had a hot stretch for a while there that brought us back.
3. Sam with a huge second half.
Big win!! In the words of Ernie Banks, let's get 2 in NY!!
Go Warriors!
PS....is this the first game we haven't had someone in foul trouble right off the bat?
Howard. Too many mental lapses by Rowsey and Hauser today.
Range to UNLIMITED. Rowsey.
Birthday boy!
Senior right behind.
Rowsey. Stone cold
The big 3 all put it together to carry the team to a win.
Gotta reward Rowsey on his senior day. Those 3's - nothing but net!
Just give it to Rowsey. The only reason we were in it late was because of those long range ballistic 3s he hit.
Rowsey.
AR
Good-bye, little guy. Rowsey with 26-8-8.
It's been great. SOTG.
Rowsey. 26 points, 8 assists, 8 rebounds.
Rowsey only got the easy rebounds.
But still gotta go with the little guy. Rowsey
Tough one. Markus got us back in with some shots when we needed them. Rpwsey with those crazy long 3s, Hauser with the huge block at the end.
Toss up, so I'll go with the senior.
Rowsey!
Somebody said they couldn't wait for Rowsey to graduate. Dumb. The 3 from the 'AL' logo was sublime.
What a send off Rowsey!!!!!

This is as clear cut stud award as there's been all season. Rowsey. A senior day for the ages.
1a. Jamal Cain
1b. greg elliott
With 17:19 left in second half MU was down 9 and Sacar made his latest inexplicable play. Elliott n Jamal played his minutes until the very end and the game completely turned around.
MU +13 the rest of the way.

A really good point. Sacar really struggled today. Cain and Elliott did a very solid job filling those minutes. The growth of our Frosh has been outstanding this year.
Rowsey!

We have three frosh with great futures.
Rowsey! that's the way to go out, clutch.
Rowsey. Huge second half. That shot from the logo was a replay of Novak vs UConn. Stud of the game and shot of the game.
Rowsey.
We won the game because of his 3s from Mequon.

Actually got to give sotg to rowsey imo but that was the difference in the game imo. Sacar is an ok defender but really brings nothing else , greg n jamal are stat stuffers n equal defenders
Rowsey. Those late threes were just daggers. Granted, he gave up twos right back, but the answers more than made up for it. Brilliant finish for the senior, and also the best game for the Big Three at the same time since Maui.
Rowsey
Has to be Rowsey and on Senior "night" as the guys on Fox kept saying

One of the shots of the season.
He made two shots of the season: The one from center court logo, and the one from the Al logo. Believe those were nearly back to back possessions too. Incredible. Novak-esque against UCONN.
AR-30!
OK, so his D was nonexistent, and I think each of his 4 very sloppy TOs led directly to CU baskets. In the end, he showed some onions the size of beach balls.
And then after the game, he smiled and told the interviewer: "It's just what I do." Classic.
There would have been no late AR heroics if Markus didn't completely take over the game for about a 7-8 minute stretch when we had absolutely nothing else going. Happy freakin' birthday, kid! (He's still a teenager, you know.)
So if ever we were going to split the award, now would be the time.
But if forced to choose, gotta go with the senior coming through on senior day in a must-win game.
I just hope we can get AR some heart, because, you know, he's no LeBron Dwyane "Davidson."
Rowdy fo sho. He was two rebounds and two assists shy of a triple double.
Also, I saw something I never thought I would ever see. There was a Creighton face break opportunity in the first half where Rowdy picked up Thomas with the ball....and he actually managed to stop the fast break!
Of course he got burned like a dozen other times on D but that once was more than I ever expected!

Now that you mention it ... thanks for reminding me of that one!
Rowsey easily. What a performance.
Rowsey...although Howard and Hauser also clutch. Team effort but Senior, way to go out.
Forget the rest of the game. 3 killer threes and a loose ball timeout. Rowsey without question
Heldt for the Tom Copa like dunk......but the senior came through!
Rowsey for being clutch.
Anim, has fallen off a cliff offensively. Need to get something from him in the Big East tournament.
Our Senior!

Not at all. It's not even a game without Howard going off earlier in the secomd half. They used Thomas to lock him down afterward and Rowsey got the opportunutiy to hit the late shots.
Andrew. The man. The legend

Fair point. I stand corrected. Yet, still have to give it to Andrew based on the juncture of game when he did his damage. Markus was clutch too (his best/most efficient game in awhile.) Was great to see them both finally play well together in the same game.

I'm just happy we're getting to argue over the SOTG. Hopefully, we'll get the chance to do it again a few more times before the season is up. ;)
Rowsey.
Rowsey
Drewski! Pure excitement today
KPom agrees: Senior
I'll agree with Rowsey, but if Hauser had made the front end of the 1-1 with about 37 secs to go, I'm pretty sure I'd say he sealed the game, and I would've then said he deserved SOTG.

To be fair Sam did block Marcus fosters three right after that. Dude knows how to win games

Good point. And I agree that he knows how to win, and is the leader in subtle ways. It will be his team for the next 2 years, even if it's not obvious to MU nation.

I'd be willing to take this one step further and say that before he graduates, he will win Big East player of the year. With who's graduating from other teams and who is likely to go pro, it will be wide open for the next two years.
Andrew Rowsey earned it.
Rowsey
Howard
im ok with either of those two!
