I sent the 6th annual www.valueaddbasketball.com All-American team to most of the sports writers and Athletic Departments this morning for consideration in voting.
The All-American list with photos and notes on each player appear at www.pudnersports.com.
No home cooking since they are determined by the best value add ratings by position (determined by www.kenpom.com), but you will probably be surprised by one Big East players who was not among the two Big East players on the list.
I'm assuming you think we would be surprised that Brunson is not on the list?
Um, Brunson's #12.
My guess is he surprise is Blueitt not in top 2, but he's 3rd...so not that surprising.
Sam is 4...which isn't surprising to us, but probably is to other.
It's Brunson. Brunson isn't on the lists. He's honorable mention. He's 12th in Value add but he has 3 point guards (Young, Carter, Graham) ahead of him
Heldt is the most offensively efficient player in all of college basketball.
