biggest game of the year Saturday, why? because its the next one on the schedule. Need to stay the course and remain tough.
The team is playing with a different sense of urgency now. They know that if they lose another game before the big east tournament there season is over as far as the NCAA's go.
Everyone can say all they will about going 2-1 over the next three or 3-1 before yesterdays game but the fact is a loss to Depaul or Georgetown with 100+ rpis would be devastating but losing to creighton would also be devastating as its the only top 40 RPI team left on there schedule. 2-1 simply will not get it done with a current rpi of 57. Need to get the RPI to roughly 45 heading into the big east tournament and pray for a win.
I am extremely hard on this team but also a realist that says anything less than 3-0 and we are in the NIT barring a BET Title

I know numbers indicate otherwise, but for some reason, I feel this way as well...and I don't like it. 9-9 should get us in, but there seems to be this love affair with the SEC and Big 12 this year.

1-0 is the number that is important.
Good post as always teamdee.

Why the extra "e" Teamdeee? Did I miss the Teamdee banning?
Don't need to give committee an excuse to keep only 6 BE teams. This and perhaps a first game match against DP are the two that would sink us with a 9-9 finish.

Good call. Didn't even notice that. Apparently teamdee logged into the wrong account. 2 posts. This thread and one from 2013. And Kenosha Warrior was active back then! Hopefully Michael Beasley isn't suiting up for the Blue Demons on Saturday!
Is teamdee the chicos to teamdeee's hoopaloop?

Definitely. The Admiral would be a monster on the boards. Would love to have him--or Chewy.
We need all 3.....
And if the coaching staff hasn't told them that......
THEY SHOULD!

They should tell them they need to lock in on Saturday.
Don't skip steps.
Everybody is still asleep. Team, coach, refs. Hopefully the final 28 minutes are better than the first 12.
Although my trap game prediction was right, we are still in this fight. Let's see what happens Saturday. Requirement for Saturday is to play tough.
