Hi
I'm traveling all the way from the Dakotas with my alumni brothers for the Creighton game. Any recommendations for a place to dine Saturday night? Carnevor? Cheers.

Doc's Commerce Smokehouse has very good BBQ
For all purpose good food and great beer, I love Ale Asylum Riverhouse, 1.5 blocks east of the BC.
Carnevor is top-shelf (and your check will reflect it). But there are tons of choices downtown. Depends where you want to be and how much you want to spend.
Points east. There is nothing I miss more in Milwaukee than points east wings
Depends on what kind of feel you're looking for. If you're looking for a taste of the Dakotas, there's a Perkins by the airport.
Amilinda on Wisconsin Ave. is very good. Birch and Butcher opened up not too long ago on Water, north of the arena, have been impressed both times I've stopped in. For seafood, I have heard Third Coast Provisions is very good.
Tons of options, especially when you head south into the Third Ward/Walkers Point/Bay View area.
Jaybee just snapchatted me 1) a junk pic (thanks, jag off) and 2) said to try the lunch buffet at the airport lounge.
Rumpus Room is a good pre/post game stop. Bartalotta joint, just down the street.
Ahem
yeah Real Chili is always on the list when we get back to campus. Heck, it is the only place left from the 80s after Angelos left. The Ardmore and the Gym have new names. But there is nothing like walking into Gesu on Sunday morning and feeling you never left Marquette.....
Thanks for the restaurant leads guys (and gals) out there
I enjoy the Broken Yolk for a huge breakfast. Key endorsement: Davante loved that place.

I went there last Friday for the first time before the UWM game. It was not too bad. Not enough food for the cost.

Depends what you get. Some plates definitely bigger than others.

? What did you order? I know they ran their very first fish fry last Friday, to accommodate those not eating meat on Friday's in Lent. Otherwise I've never heard a portion size complaint regarding Doc's.

Per my LIMO driving kids: not as much as he liked Qdoba.
As a side note, I would not go to any restaurant simply because Davante liked it. He doesn't strike me as particularly discerning when it comes to food.

They were giving Qdoba out at the game tonight.
