One of the biggest comebacks in NCAA history.

Michigan State was down 22 at the break after trailing by as much as 27. Duke holds the record for the largest halftime deficit overcome in a victory, rallying from 29 down to beat Tulane on Dec. 30, 1950.
The Wildcats gave themselves a great chance at their first win over a Top 5 team since 1979 even though star guard Bryant McIntosh sat out with a shoulder injury.
The Spartans outscored Northwestern 29-4 over the first 14 1/2 minutes after the break, tying it on Nick Ward's tip-in and taking their first lead of the game at 56-53 on Jaren Jackson's three-point play with 5:26 remaining.
OMG. Now I remember why I quit watching/attending their games.
Guess Marquette got the lesser demotivator of the Coach K tree
It's impressive enough to rally from a 27-point deficit, but they did it in a game where the final score was only 65-60.
Think about that.
43-16. Northwestern scored 11 in the second half.

Only 3 buckets all half. You'd think a few more would fall in accidentally.

They probably would have scored more if they just dribbled to midcourt and jacked it up from there all night...

Yep. This wasn't an amazing MSU comeback as much as it was a complete collapse of Northwestern.

True.
A few of the girls on the HS team I assistant coach hit a surprisingly high percentage of half-court shots when they are just messing around before or after practice!
I'm not sure when in the modern era a major-college team has made only 3 baskets in a half - let alone a team that was coming off an NCAA tournament season. Pretty amazing, really.
When I think of atrocious B10 performances, I always think of this one: http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/playbyplay?gameId=310700275 (http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/playbyplay?gameId=310700275).
But neither team was as bad as NU was in the 2nd half.
