It's all Sacar baby. From Omaha, I'm out.
Oh, big free throws by Sammy.
Go Warriors!!
Sacar!!!!!!!!
Yup, we found ourselves a new SOTG!
Sacar F*ckin Anim
Honorable mention: hauser
Fantastic TEAM win!
Sacar, shut it down
Anim. No question.
#2 is #4 on the board, and #1 tonight.
Sacar.
Sacar. Keep attacking, young man.
Sacar!
We found him!
Sacar
Rowsey and he never came out in the second half I believe.
The doubters on Scoop that Wojo showed to the players at halftime to rally them. ;)
And Sacar
Sacar! Great team win!
Sacar!
SacÄr
We found sacar!
give him the SOTG!
The High Scorer
Sacar. Huge, more Huge, and more.
Can you imagine if Wojo had given up a 16 point lead at home and let Sacar Anim score 26?
Sacar!!!
What a great show of heart from the team tonight. They looked so loose in the second half and were having fun.
Please Markus be okay
SFA. Huuuge game tonight!
Anim doing it defensively and offensively.
It's obviously Sacar, but that was a big boy second half by Hauser.
Can we vote for the 2-3 zone?

I think I saw a mix with 2-3, and either 1-3-1 or 3-2. 1 offensive board for Creighton that I counted in the 2nd half. It's weird, normally the approach is to shoot your opponent out of a zone. But Marquette's switches are so pathetic in m2m that opponents get someone wide open for a 3 or layup each possession

I always lean towards players that step up hit the game clinching free throws,
Sacar
Hauser a very close second
I swear a couple times it looked like a revolutionary "circle zone" because there weren't two blue uniforms within 15' of one another and four of the guys were standing on the 3pt line
The Sac man!!
All those offensive rebounds. Whoever got all those offensive rebounds in the 2nd half. Then Hauser and anim.
Who does number 2 work for? Yeah baby, swing!
Sacar
Sacar and not even close, but huge honorable mention to Rowsey who played all 20 minutes of the second half and the majority of them with four fouls
Sacar. However, it is close. Hauser had a big second half, scoring inside and out. Big boards, and two dagger free throws.
Sacar added a new dinension to the team tonight. Outstanding effort.
Sac not close, most important player on the team
Sacar.....but...and I know some will balk at this....but Rowsey deserves it as well. 21 points, 5 boards, 8 assists, 1 turnover, and somehow avoided a 4th foul the entire second half. His low shooting % gives Sacar the edge IMHO but he did a great job running the offense with Markus out of commission.
Hauser a distant third.

God I love beating Creighton. Glad to be able to shut their arrogant fans up.
1. Coaching staff for switch to 2-3
2. Anim
Can the 2nd half defense be the stud of the game? Greg and Jamal in particular wreaked havoc within the zone. Their smart positioning, long arms and quickness stymied one of the best offenses in the country. The first half defense was perhaps the worst of the season. After the break, it was possibly the best.
As for individual performances, got to go with Sacar. Stud.
Great win. What a game.
Rowsey in a photo finish over Sacar. Hauser a neck behind.

Another vote for Sacar, with Hauser and Rowsey the runner-ups.
Does Sacar get it with 26 points or does Rowsey get it with 20 minutes 2nd half with 4 fouls, 21 points 8 assists and 1 turnover.
Scoop will say Sacar to finally get a 4th sotg. My heart says Rowsey.

Since Rowsey finished the game with 3 fouls, I'll guess Sacar. But it does sound like Rowsey had a strong finish (missed most of the second half).

No only for switching to it, but for playing it WELL. They must be practicing this because their execution was very good.
if it must be a player... SFA!
Sacar - but I would say Cain's length kit the spark. Rebound + denying passes in the zone.

I'll second that, and the indvidual is obvious, where have they been?
Sacre Bleu & Gold!
It must be Sacar!
Amen!
I thought the zone was ok. But compared to our man to man, we looked like Virginia.
My vote for Sacar.

Rowsey 21 pts, 5 reb 8 assists, 1 turnover barely over Sacar's 26 pts, 2 reb, 4 assists, 3 turnovers.
Sacar for sure.
Rowsey should lose consideration for chucking up at least three 3-point shots while fading away, guarded, and 18 seconds still on the shot clock.
Sacar.

Sacar.
Very obviously Anim. I will give Rowsey credit for going the entire 2nd half and not picking up a 4th foul let alone 5th. Probably not possible if still in man. Props to Elliott and Cain for some big plays as well.
For those who want to compare stats:
Sacar eFG%: 75.0%
Rowsey eFG%: 47.5%
I thought Sacar attacked the rim like he hasn't done before. From where I sat, it looked like instead of a "pass first" mentality, he was thinking he had to step up after Markus went down. If he can do that consistently, not necessarily scoring 26 or so even, he could make this team very good.

Did he not have 3 in the first half and pick up his 4th at 18 minutes?

No I thought he did but I believed they called it on Sam.
EDIT: It was Anim at the 17:12 mark.

The announcers thought they called it on Rowsey and were surprised when it was called on Hauser.

Sacar had 13 points when Howard got hurt. I only point this out, because everyone seems to think Sacar had a great game, because of Howard's injury. He was already having a great game.

Sure is nice when Andrew is sharing the ball. I remember one of Wojo's huddles where he kept saying "It'll come back to you" to Rowsey, trying to get him to pass more and be more selective on this shots.
Sacar all the way!
