Any ideas? Not on FSGO as I was hoping, looking for a way to stream to phone. I'm in remote part of Northern Wisconsin now and not getting a TV feed.
NM. Found it on channel 15 St. Germain. Looks like I'm watching on grandpa's rabbit ears UHF TV but it's better than nothing.
If you'd rather watch on your phone, here's a youtube link I set up. Cheers. https://youtu.be/F-Z3Y531d6Y (https://youtu.be/F-Z3Y531d6Y)

Yes, thanks much.

You are awesome.
Bump.
Saw a lot of posts about unable to find a stream. This YouTube link was terrific. Watch for it Wednesday. Thanks again friartv.
No problem! Hate those FSN games, most of the Friar games on those channels aren't even available at all on our two main cable providers.
Also would like to add that the above link also works as a game replay (missed the first 5 minutes or so, but most of it is there) if you'd like to re-watch. Best of luck the rest of the way.

The good news is you will be able to cheer for Cooley and The Gang all the time now.

This is wonderful, friar, thanks. I wish I had heard about it for Creighton, and I will be watching Wednesday. You da man!
How do you go about setting up a stream like you did on youtube?
I have a Elgato HD60 Capture device which are usually used to capture and stream video games on Twitch and the like, but it can also be used for TV if you strip the HDCP protection, which can be done with a cheap HDMI splitter. Then it's pretty simple, there is a YouTube preset in the Elgato software. NBA/NFL games get flagged immediately and you lose streaming privileges for something like 6 months, but I haven't had that happen with a college basketball game all season. Although I do have like 5 alt accounts set up just in case.
Cool, thanks for the info. I appreciate you explaining it! I also am glad you posted it for us to enjoy.
Ok. I need some techy help please. I'm looking for a way to watch the game Wednesday and don't see that it's on my Comcast in the Chicago area. Assuming a YouTube stream from Friqr, I can cast the game from my phone to my Roku and watch it. I just did that with the Creighton game. BUT, I get no volume. How can I get the volume to cast from my phone?
Or, is there a way to get the YouTube stream directly on the Roku? If I go to YouTube on my Roku, where can I find the stream, other than casting it?
Thanks. I'll hang up and listen to my answer.

You can't call up YouTube right on your Roku? I can on mine. It's a channel just like HBOGo or Netflix.

Thank you so much, Friar Man. It was a gift. I stayed up to watch it.
I'm assuming you're a PC fan. Could we get an MU fan who could do this for those of us that are in TV hinterlands?

Yeah I can do Wednesday, Friars play right before on the same channel in my neck of the woods so I'll just stop and start the stream between games to split them up and post a link here.

I would think you're able to watch on computer, phone or any device. You just need to use the link that Friar provides.
Or click on the link with your phone, see what he titled the game (last game was some random name like 67PCBGRTA or some crap), find that name, then look it up on the youtube app on your streaming device at home (apple tv, fire stick, roku etc...)

Yeah I tend to keep the YouTube streams unlisted which makes them unsearchable, my thinking is that it's a lot less likely to get taken down that way, but I don't really know if that is the case. People usually just cast it or use their TV's browser to get to the stream.
I can make the link public tomorrow instead so you can find on in the YouTube app through whatever device, I'll just do it on one of my alternate accounts.

Friar, For the YouTube stream, is it a live stream only and do you then Remove the video from YouTube immediately after the game is over? Or will I be able to start from the beginning an hour or so after the game has already started?

I bought a streaming box and I'm doing the seven day free trial on Sling TV. I'm going to try going into my browser on the streaming box (Chromecast) and click on the link from Scoop. It should work.
NOTE: I just went on my android phone and clicked on the link from the Creighton game. It pulled it right up. If you want to test your phone/tablet try it on the Creighton Scoop link.

Here's the link below, but you can probably just search Marquette vs. St. John's and it will come up too. If it gets taken down I'll put up an unlisted link. Stream will start soon.

Crazy that they suspended this one but not last years' vs. you guys. It didn't seem nearly as bad, but with Rodriguez getting hurt I definitely get it. Had a feeling this afternoon when it was 70 outside that it was going to be an issue again. They gotta do something to make sure that doesn't happen anymore.
Appreciate the kind words from all of you!
That was huge setting up that stream, friar. Thanks so much.
I'll be rooting for your boyz ... unless we play y'all for the BET championship!!
Friar, that was awesome. Thanks for coming through on a game we all really wanted to see.
friar, now you know how I felt about a month ago when I was in Detroit playing craps. I had the dice about 25 minutes and I won everybody a lot of money. Other players were cheering me and even tipping me. When I finally got the inevitable 7, I got a long ovation.
The only difference is that my long roll was total luck. You actually earned your applause!!

Haha, that's great, always wanted to be the guy with the dice at one of those hot craps tables, but I'd be as clueless as Nick Papagiorgio. I have no idea how to actually play.
Also, hate to turn my applause into boos so quickly, but unfortunately the Friars play at the same time as you guys on Saturday, so no stream from me. :-[
Much thanks Friar, I was able to watch the game at home and cheer so loud my neighbors wondered what was going on. They are big Badger fans.
Thank you
I also am very appreciative. Was surprised at 7:30 when I tried to watch the game and couldn't find it. Thanks so much! Did not want to miss this game!
Would like to say thank you. Had box seats to the black hawks game tonight and there is video of me watching the MU game on my phone thanks to your link.
Friar - A big thanks from Hoi An, Vietnam. It was great to finish a day of cycling and then watch the game with a cold beer. You get my vote for Scoop person of the year.

Because of your generosity, Friar, we have formally asked the Milwaukee Sports and Entertainment Center Bat to lay off Coach Cooley going forward.
And yes, he is making the move along with the Bucks and the Warriors.

OK then, I guess I'll have to make plans to watch our win at an establishment. The HS team I assistant coach has made it to the third round of the state playoffs and we have a game that night, so I'll probably have to sip iced tea while watching MU - the bartender's gonna love me.
