Option 2: No

Pomeroy has this as a 1 point win for St. Johns. This seems to be the very definition of a game that could go either way. St. John's playing well. MU fighting to keep its NCAA hopes alive.
I'm going to vote Yes, we win..by 3.
If we win the turnover battle against StJ we win. Easier said than done.

Given that STJ leads the conf in turnover margin that will be tough.
Key to the game is using Hauser as an effective release value on the press. If Hauser can get the ball near the center of the court we should be ok with press.
I'll bet we do if we can score more points.

Apparently their TO ratio is the best in the conference. Tough to win that one, but it would be a great sign if we did.
We didn't, that was hard to watch

Worst part is that by all accounts the MU administration is completely cool with this. As long as wojo keeps the program clean, there is no reason for his seat to be hot. The team is trending down, and we are in the midst of the worst stretch of the Wojo era. No longer is the emphasis on Winning.
I will be curious to see how it all plays out in years to come when donors stop opening up their pocket books so readily. For a top 10 spending program we deserve better.

I guarantee you that the administration is not cool with losing. As TAMU has said on this board, Wojo sold them on a 5 year plan. Each year since he took over he has met expectations. Even he falls short this year, they are going to give him another year because we have a lot of talent coming in.
OK, OK, I voted after the game.
But in truth, I thought we would lose this game even before SJU started winning. The SJU game last year (2/1/17) was perhaps the worst game I've attended that MU has ever played. The same thing happened this year - easy points for SJU off TO's.
