Agreed.  He just needs to see one go in to get the misses out of his head.  The block and assist may help with that.

The reality is there is tremendous pressure on this team and they're playing like it.  THAT is on Wojo.  They're pressing not flowing.  They have to work too hard to get shots.  Good D makes it hard.  Butler shooting 50%+ so it's hard to say we're unlucky.

If I was Wojo, I wouldn't come into the locker room.  I'd let them sit and think.  Get someone to step up.  They need to come together and sometimes it just has to be on the players to execute.

Face it Sports Fans, if the Warriors blow this game, and the way they are playing, it is not looking good, a fork can be stuck in this season, and the mantra will become, We"ll be really good next year." repeat and rinse.

And perhaps some will then be willing to admit that maybe, just maybe, a giant flamethrower needs to be affixed to Wojo's rump.

I don't really agree. This is the worst offensive performance we've had all year. Butler has made more than a few contested crazy-looking shots.

We don't have an answer for the wide man right now and he's going to kill us in the 2nd half most likely but, if we were making a regular amount of shots you'd feel totally different about the defense. The offense is the most important factor because by far the best thing we can do is limit our exposure defensively.

This game is unacceptable on every level.  This is not how you prepare your team for a game.  Complete incompetence.

I think losing the Villanova game and not getting calls at home down the stretch really broke the morale of this team.

Mentally out of it.

Also, the physicality is getting to them.  We're not big.  We've been beat up.

We look totally unprepared.  We have no offense and no defense.  Lousy coaching period.

Down 15 at half and then you come out and play even worse?   One and done terrible shots, no offensive movement, no game plan.   Maybe we are just not good enough to win this game which is fine.  However, getting whipped like this surely reflects poorly on the coaching staff.

I hope I am not rooting for a team that still has thoughts of the last game and the refs conspiring against them effects their morale.  Sorry, but that's just over the top.

This team just stinks on defense, fouls too much and can only win if two of their scorers show up.  Not physical and that will change with Morrow.

2019 - 2020 season.  The youth need another year in the system, plus some added bulk that comes with a few years of conditioning.

Wojo is out there? I thought he was just the coach.

The players play the game. The outcome of the game is at least 90% players, 10% coaching adjustments/screaming/huddle talk.

The players missed the shots. The players did not commit to sharing the ball on offense. The players got lazy and let Wideman power over them. We've seen them do all of these things correctly this season. They know what to do. They're just not in it today. The players I mean.

I believe MU will play Wednesday night in the BET for the 3rd or 4th time in 5 yrs (I believe they did in Buzz's last year).  Such a bummer Wojo seems like a great guy but this just ain't working.  Next year it will be no real PG and Elliot playing out of position, Wd Morrow has tomait our last year, Joey is still healing blah, blah.  We always have circumstances to justify mediocrity.

I am suffering PTDS . . . Post Traumatic Dukiet Syndrome . . . It's a side effect from my time at Marquette in the 80's when losing by 30 at home in what amounts to the Horizon League was a common occurrence.

We are coming down the court and chucking up shots.  There have been no in game adjustments.  That falls squarely on Wojo.

Yes.

My operative theory is Big 3 are going to have games down the stretch where they are all playing well. That will make us a very tough team to beat.

Clearly, we have not been able to even get a big 2 lately , seems like we only get one of the guys to play well in any given game. But I do think  they will all hit their stride at the same time .  Teams can go a long way in a tournament setting with multiple hot shooters.
