Boy do I hope I was wrong - in my defense I has no idea that Kanter = Kareem, O'Meara = Chamberlain and Goodin (who coming in had 3 3s ALL YEAR) = Steph Curry. Their "stars" (Blueitt and Macura) look like crap and we're down 26. If we play this way at DePaul we'll lose by double digits.

You only have yourself to blame for not realizing they're an 18-3 basketball team in the Big East.

Look, dickwad, I know you're pissed because we're getting waxed (so am I), but give it a rest. I admitted (multiple times) to being hyperbolic. X was rated #5 at the time and I didn't think they were nearly that good. I still don't (although the last couple of weeks is confirming my suspicion that college bball is awful this year) and if you want the wager I offered it's still available. Put up or shut up. As for me being "to blame" for having an opinion on something we won't know the answer to until late March - LOL.

You called them a borderline top 25 team and then "wagered" that if they finished ranked 6th in the country you win money. Great bet bud. LOL.
And knowing the answer late March? So ignore the 40 game season and base a season on a one and done tournament?
So you thought George Mason was one of the four best teams in the country in 2006? Florida Gulf Coast one of the 16 best teams in the country in 2013? Fair enough I guess.
You implied that if a team is ranked 5th but is REALLY the 6th best team in the country they are "overrated." That is beyond laughable on so many levels.
Xavier is a top 10 team. Everything about the team (the product on the court, the talent, the roster build, the experience, the coaching, etc.) and the resume (record, quality wins, lack of bad losses) shows it.
Name me 10 teams better. Shoot wait that'd still leave them "overrated" in your little mind. Name me 7 teams that are better.
