Title: Tough Break for Nova
Post by: TAMU, Knower of Ball on January 24, 2018, 12:00:00 PM
Phil Booth fractured a bone in his shooting hand. He's out indefinitely.

Probably their fourth or fifth best player,  but they only run a 7 man rotation. Really feel for booth, he missed all but three games of last season with a knee injury.

Nova just announced that Phil Booth is out indefinitely with a fracture in his hand. I know this will still be a tough game Sunday, but I've got to think our chance at getting a big resume boosting win just went up.

As with Creighton this year and just about every team we faced down the stretch last year, never want to see someone get injured. That said, this is a (small) window of opportunity heading into Nova. Attack aggressively early and often.

Broken hand in Providence game.  Will not play vs. MU.

Bad break 😬 for Nova and Bridges.  Esp after he missed last year.

I wish (kinda, I like this Nova team and don't wanna see them lose anyone like that)!!
But Booth is a big loss for them.

Third hand injury for Nova this year. Freshmen Gillespie and Samuels have broken theirs as well. Jay Wright needs to reconsider all those car door slamming drills in practice.

Yep. Gillespie is back now but I think Samuels is still out. Gillespie better be ready for some minutes now.

As long as he's back to mid season form by mid March they'll be just fine.

Nevermind. Showing he's out for the year. That's not good.
