We need more big heads and spinner wheels.
When I was in school, the students were a much bigger part of the FT D.
The Old People that sat in those seats over break are lame.
We need players older brothers to walk on the court when the other team is shooting free throws. That'll help our free throw D

I thought it was his cousin, and didn't he go after Dom even though Burke was the one that hurt the guy?
Wojo's FT defense scheme of leaving the shooter wide open is the biggest problem. Maybe try a double team or 2-3 zone.
I heard they don't even practice defending free throws
Something curvy behind the curtain.

I'm sure he's referring to the incident where somebody at The Dunk came out of the stands with the idea of going at Joe Fulce.

That's what I was referencing as well, I just couldn't remember the players involved.
Honestly, my hope is this means that we are due for a big regression to the mean...maybe even starting tonight....in almost every single game, home, road, and neutral, the opposing team has shot a higher FT% against us than their season average and in a lot of cases it's by a wide margin. One explanation could be we foul a lot of perimeter players who are typically higher % FT shooters, but still that doesn't explain the difference alone. There has been a lot of just bad luck.
We need the curtain of distraction.

We need Scottie Pippen to stand behind FT shooters and tell them a version of "The Mailman doesn't deliver on Sundays." Just has to insert the current shooter's name and current day of the week.
Helped the Bulls win a title!
Oh, and that regression-to-mean thing would be nice, too.

Scottie used to hang out at Marquette games quite a few times my Freshman and Sophomore year, so it's certainly not out of the question.

Nah... we just need someone to channel USU's Wild Bill. Hell, we stole their "I believe" chant, why not steal their FT distraction too?
Hopefully the new arena will have more of a closed-in feel next year. Kinda hard to distract a FT shooter from 20 yards away.
Wow. Have we ever ranked dead last in any category before? Can't get there without significant deficiency (fouling good FT shooters too often) and whole lot of bad luck.

Scopin' out the MU babes?
Clearly, this is Wojo's fault
Probably because Matt does such a poor job hedging out top. Too slow getting back to defend.
When you pressure the perimeter and don't defend the paint, you foul the other team's best shooters. No surprise. On the other hand, MU is good at defending the three.
Trading 3's for 2's as apparently #ftsnomatta.
I recommend deploying the Morganna FT defensive scheme.
Doc, can ya help the young fellers with a pic or two of this?
The students need to bring a little of this action....

Well, technically, playing defense during a free throw is illegal, so I look at being last in this category as being a compliment.
We need a big head of big head!

Lot of just pure, dumb bad luck
This will hurt recruiting.

I think the UW game is showing our FT% (10-10) rather than theirs (13-20).
Generation Z doesn't want to play FT defense, it's sad. I blame AAU ball & iPhones.

Our FTs are just like any other part of our team. Great offense, terrible defense. We're currently #4 in the country at team FT% behind William & Mary, Central Michigan, and Liberty.

X only shooting 63,6 ft compared to our 71,4
2/3 of the games where we "held" an opponent to under their season average we lost!
