Blue Sissies up tonight. Hairy wet cats.
Good shot at some espanol tonight. Midgets go wild. Easy 'never.
Marcus returns to SOTG for this laugher.
GO WARRIORS!!!

MU games against DePaul games are usually brutal to watch. They played with Providence for most of the game in Friday. I'm shaky on this one
Froling goes all Kinsella, 3-3 on 3s, 15 points, 9 boards...SOTG cuz no else breaks 20. MU by 15.
Nice of DePaul to give us white numbers on the black jerseys for once.
Baby blues, uh oh....
So shuffling the feet in the post is legal tonight. Okay
Whoooo, Sacar! I would love to see more of that from him!

Nice mid range jumper by Jamal.
Congratulations Andy Rowsey on 2,000+points in a career!
The grand majority of Rowseys points came at MU??

I like Harry?s game so far tonight. Active on the boards, nice passing and a nice jump hook.

When 756 is a grand majority of 2,000. 1,244 at Asheville was fake news.
Unless you were just making fun of his grammar. I'm on board with that too.

Ha no kidding.
Then it was funny that he followed it up with a "think if he played his whole time at Marquette he'd shatter their records".
Rowsey is a nice scorer and all. But I bet my life he doesn't put up the same pts here as he did at Asheville his first two years
Sam with 5 more shots then anyone else??
Actually nice to see him shooting a bunch
Does it look like Sam is putting more arc on his threes than normal?
Harry is keeping the ball alive on the offensive end. And a sweet finger roll too.

Major rainbow
Can't believe they didn't call a foul on Heldt
Up 10 with Rowsey shooting like ass
Markus with no shots and 2 fouls
And 2/10 from 3 as a team.
It might be DePaul but nice to see we can be up 10 and not playing great.
Also, Harry's best game so far
Harry getting some run. Doing a lot of nice things as well.
Froling is playing really well so far tonight. Active on the boards, has a couple buckets, and was screwed out of at least 2 assists when people missed wide open 3's. I'd like to sign up for more of this.
Paints in the point always kill us

DePaul is just awful. My goodness.
Theo has really been showing new elements to his game lately. That was a great pass to Jamal, just too bad Jamal couldn't finish. I'm loving the way Theo has been progressing this year. He's looking more adjusted to the college game every week now.

Theo is gonna be a monster at some point in his career
They are shooting like 10%, don?t know if it?s MU defense or what. Shutting that Strus guy down, but maybe he gets hot or something.
If MU made the five layups missed, this game is history.
Anyone see the guy at the end of DePaul's bench cheering every time Marquette hits a three....while wearing head to toe DePaul gear?
Passing is top notch right now
Layups and open 3s not so much.
But the offense is getting good looks whenever they want
Is Joey really better than Sam?
I just realized I'm old enough to remember when a coach's head would explode if you stopped 24 ft from the basket on a fast break to shoot. It's one of MU's best offensive weapons.

Well, more highly rated/regarded after his junior year of high school than Sam was ≠ better than Sam as a sophomore. Also missing this year due to injury.

watched them together at spash. Joey is significantly better and more athletic, at least when they were both in HS together.
The only time I've seen Joey in person was the Championship game last year against my daughters's high school. I'm going out on a limb to say defenses in the Big East are better than Arrowhead's, but I've never seen a player dominate a game more at any level.
Let?s keep this up the second half. Can we play 40 minutes and also stop missing bunnies? It would be nice to see.
My distant relative playing well.
Jamal....the kid is gonna be good.
Are there two guys in MU number 23 jerseys on the court? He is everywhere on both ends!

It seems like Wojo is giving the younger guys and Harry some more run tonight, and it's working well. This has been a relatively quiet half from the Big 3, but we're still scoring, and the defense is looking pretty good. We're getting to see some of what these guys are capable of, and it's impressive.

Markus barely played and Rowsey had one of his terrible halfs
Yet we are up 20.
That's nice to see
Bad Rowsey. Bad.
Rowsey with 5 assists to offset his poor shooting. Hopefully he can hit a couple in the second half.
Yeah, it's DePaul and they're not good. But they've lost vs. Nova by 18, @X by 5, vs. GU by 9, vs. PC by 7 while winning @ SJU by 17. You don't pound 'em like this without playing well yourself. Really well done to not sleep walk through it. Let's see 20 more minutes, and Wojo letting them have it if the defense goes soft or Rowsey throws the ball away again.
Depaul at 18% (6 for 33) field goals, almost half their points from free trow line. Wow...
Rowsey and Howard have made one field goal between them, one.
Cain all over the place and he missed two layups. Got limited minutes last few games, glad he's getting time.
Coulda/shoulda be a 30 point lead.
DePaul shooting 18.2%. Ouch
DePaul is 5-18 (27%) in the paint. DePaul with as many field goals as turnovers. Nice energy defending the paint and by the underclassmen.
Also appears I just threw away 50 bucks lol.
With the odds DePaul was getting I figured throw something on them just in case we sh it the bed.
Should limit the shooting fouls tho
Appears DePaul can make free throws at least

Watching the halftime highlights of the West Virginia vs Kansas game I feel like I saw Theo John in 2-3 years. The guy for WVU blocked 2-3 attempted dunks/layups.
Thoroughly underwhelmed by this Grandstaff dude. Wasn't he supposed to be good? It appears he can barely crack DePaul's line up.
KP ratings will hopefully show my claim after this one, aina? worse o, betta d.
DePaul's eFG% is unthinkably bad. Thankfully, we've also been horrid.
I worry M2N is hurt or sick. Nonetheless, please don't let the score diff get closer than 10 pts

MU up by 21, therefore no trollfairskatingrink tonight.

I am not as big of a fan of Harry?s as most. I know he has done a ton of work on his fitness/body. That said he still seems a bit doughy. I am hopeful that he continues to work hard and get stronger and more physical over the next couple of years.

What is going on out there tonight? Is everyone sick? This has been one of the sloppiest Big East games I remember watching. Not pretty.
The big upside is that we're playing above the rim more tonight than we have all year. It's nice to see our athleticism on display in this otherwise ugly game.

Was a terrible the game last night:
For snow, 8p Monday start and classes starting for the students this morning, I thought the crowd was actually decent sized. The student section had half the upper bowl full.
Now if you were looking at the crowd any time after the 15 min mark in the second half when MU was up 24... people started leaving Waaaay more early than usual. Again likely the late start and snow affecting length of stay.

Interesting. I don't mind a good walk on cheering squad. I've just never seen one that cheers that enthusiastically when the other team scores. Was wondering if it was a grad student who was an undergrad at Marquette or something
