If one wants to watch the game from the comfort of their home but does not have this mythical CBS Sports Net channel, how would one go about doing that....semi-legally of course
Vipsports or firstrowsports always work.
Awe crud. CBSPORTS blows. Now I gotta find the game somewhere.
If you want to just have CBS Sports Network and a number of other channels for a month or 2 PSVUE has CBS SN in their base package
Let's hope they play better in this CBSSN game than they did vs. Georgia.
Upgrade your cable package.

+1. It's a great channel. Not sure why we go thru this song and dance every year.

As an added bonus the Dayton game is airing right after ours so you can add value to the UD game thread Herman starts

If it's so great, why isn't it available OTT?
Sling TV doesn't even have it as an option
Use the 7 day free trial of YouTube TV or psvue.

Well, now those are two different things. The lack of streaming, does seem in the stone age. Just saying, I really enjoy having the network. I'm a cable guy. I find myself watching it a lot Sept. thru April.

Hopefully gives Dickie Simpkins a chance to rest his brain, or develop a new talking point

Yup, except for those out of the US (sorry Newsy), These are probably your best bet. Hell, even drop the money for a month subscription if you have to. You'll also be able to watch next weeks Seton Hall game on 1/9.

Yo, not out of the US, just not inland so satellite feeds come from international stats.

But can you get service from say, Youtube TV? I was under the impression they would treat PR as "Outside of our Service Area" (like they yell at me when I accidentally leave my VPN on...). Corrections welcome :)

Do not know, but they keep hitting my phone to join for free trial. I'll try and lyk. With the local Direct TV PR I can stream fs1 fox cbs abc etc but not the unavailable ones like fs2 cbssn.
How will it work out for the games on fox sports north? The Creighton game comes to mind on Feb 17th. Any chance that gets picked up by a fs1 or are we out of luck ?
Doing the free trial on YouTube TV, we'll see how this works out

From Wikipedia: "DirecTV satellites 10, 11, and 12 are Boeing model 702 satellites designed to deliver high definition television to the continental United States, Hawaii, and Alaska."
If you drew a box along latitude/longitude lines that included all 50 states, PR would sit maybe a few dozen miles outside the box (west side of PR is same longitude as east coast of Maine & PR is just a couple degrees south of HI). So this is just a guess, but if these three satellites can be "seen" from all 50 states, PR should be able to "see" them as well. So I'm also guessing that the receivers are either a) programmed to access certain satellite signals/feeds depending on your locale or b) programmed to filter content it received from the satellite depending on your locale.
So theoretically, say someone on the mainland was nice enough to send Newsy a "ML" receiver that was programmed to DTV10, 11 & 12. Aside from maybe an adjustment to his dish's orientation, would he not be able to then access the same DTV programming we have on the ML? In other words, how does the receiver know if the TV it's connected to is in San Juan or San Jose?
Moral of Story: If you're a DTV subscriber with an extra box and you haven't donated to hurricane relief yet, here's your chance.

Get the sportspack, or find a bar that has the sportspack, or yes, you'll be out of luck. Unless you live in Wisconsin, or any other other regional FSN area that are sure to pick up the game.
Panther says no to being added to FS1, and they know their TV sh**, so I am guessing not.

Are there any games on FSN?
MU schedule has FS1, FOX, CBSSN, and FSW (@ CREIGHTON 2/17), but no FSN.

Lol teal mostly, supposedly one of those older satellites was moved to be able to service PR and I guess that is where we get all movie channels bc they are all the sama as in the US, same with espn cnn we get abc cbs and fox as localcal channels. Then we get a feed from an international satellite that serves latin america so for exampke we get fox deportes not fox sports we have normal History channel and also Hist channel in Spanish so we get aliens in both languages. But no fs2 foxsports cbssn but we do get nbc sn. All depends on the satellite feed I guess we are so far South that is the problem. We got DirectTV like 10 yrs after it was available in US because of the weak signal.

Doesn't get any better than that. Doubleheader first game with Ed Cooley and Company and then we get some Kostas live.

Games that are set to be on a network, will stay on that network. If it's FSN, which are the regional networks, it will stay there. I don't want anyone to get false hopes in a national network in FS1 to pick it up. If it was going to be on FOX or FS1, it would have been scheduled in September. FS1 has tons of Daytona coverage in February on FS1. Plus, Big Ten and Pac-12 basketball as well. UFC, etc.
When the time gets closer, I will pass along as I do in what FSN RSN's will pick up those games.
