Is there anything Markus can't do???

In all seriousness, great representation from our conference on this committee.  You have Creighton's AD, Val and Markus.  There's only one rep each from the B1G, SEC, ACC, PAC-12 and Big 12.

If that doesn't scream how the Big East is currently viewed from other powers that be and the media, I don't know what does.

I think it has more to do with allocating a certain number of slots for FBS, FCS and DI... when you look at the non-football conferences, the Big East is the only 800 lb. gorilla so it's naturally going to command more representation within that category.  With FBS, you've only got six slots for ten conferences (five of which are 800 lb. gorillas in their own right), so you're unlikely to see more than one rep per conference within those cohorts.

Vote? No, he can do that, too, now.

At eighteen he can vote in US elections.

He just can't vote as a member of the committee.  While he's appointed to the committee, he's not a member (I don't get it either) and therefore, can't vote.

I think he wears his hair like that to appear taller.  :D The question is, how do how aggressive will they be in smashing it down when they are measuring his height at the 2020 NBA combine?

From the NCAA:

"The Men's Basketball Oversight Committee will supervise qualifications and/or selection procedures for the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship."

Ladies and gentlemen, our first proposed amendment to the selection procedures will be an automatic 3-seed for any team defeating any Division I university located in the sate of Vermont by exactly 10 points. All in favor?
