Keep bringing Sacar and Elliot off of the bench for balance. Turn Jamal loose on defense and rebounding. Playing with the experienced players let's him play the 'energy guy' role.

? I assume if Wojo thought he could contribute at all he wouldn't be the last guy on the bench.
I am guessing the starters tonight are
Heldt
Hauser
Howard
Rowsey
Anim

To be fair wojo isn't always the best at determining who's the best contributers. Rowsey was close to last on the bench for a large part of last year

Yes. We are clearly better at that than he is.
I understand the argument against. However, I absolutely loathe the idea of having nothing but freshmen on the bench. Start Cain, let him be the energy freshman in the starting 5. Elliot comes in whenever Markus or Rowsey need a rest. Sacar comes in when Cain gets two quick fouls or Joey needs a rest. Sacar still gets 30 minutes. Theo and Matt replace each other. I am simply trying to come up with a scenario where there is a contributor and not merely a place holder coming off of the bench.
At this point, Cain is a poor defender (on a team that struggles defensively). Don't know how much we want to expose that.

Fair points, but Sacar or Elliott coming off the bench isn't Vinnie Johnson or John Havlicek - or Jae Crowder.
Don't see it.
Personal preference. I have always kept one of my best players on the bench to start the game, not wanting to have too many of my good players have to go out at the same time with nothing but lesser talent coming in. Starting a weak player and bringing a stronger player off of the bench protects against drop off and helps continuity. IMO.
Sacar

+1
Think Sacar is the pick. Cain's still going to get plenty of minutes, whether he's ready for them or not. Elliott's earned some extra run, but coming off the bench is probably best with the munchkins already starting.

FIFY.
I'd start Sacar over the freshmen and mix them in as needed.
The good news is that MU has a couple of (should be) easy contests this week for Wojo to shuffle the lineup and see what works.

Sacar
Timing of things smack Sacar. I am glad we found him.
My guess is Sacar...both because he has experience, and because IMHO his game is most similar to Haanif's (slashing to the hoop and playing solid D).

Haha no kidding right! That was a great response. Remember when sacra transfered last year because we couldn't find him in one team picture. Classic.
Sacar needs a long run to build confidence, hes starting to look more relaxed out there and is one of the few tough guys on this team so far
