Title: Two interesting media tidbits, both involving LA Times
Post by: MU82 on November 07, 2017, 12:48:34 PM
The first is about Disney blocking LA Times access to its movie previews because it didn't like a news story that it didn't even argue was factually incorrect. Several groups are responding by boycotting Disney, although their presence is so small the boycotts are mostly symbolic.

The second is an LA Times political cartoonist having to do a mea culpa after an unflattering (and sexist, I say) description of Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

MU82 - I assume you would share the facial expressions of the reporters in the skit.  From this past Saturday.........

Aidy Bryant Busts Out Demi Lovato's 'Confident' as Sarah Huckabee Sanders on 'SNL'

I Wouldn't touch SHS with jaybee's dick, but i do find some humor that the guy is named Mr. Horsey.

(I know the NYT uses Mr or Ms in their articles)

Doesn't matter.  She'll lie and say you did anyway.

And somehow blame HRC.

I think it is hilarious that the "cartoonist" has a remarkable likeness to Trump including the thinning orange hair

Probably  caving to threats of not being considered for critics awards, not necessarily protests
