Starters are Markus, Sacar, Sam, Mattie, and and Haani.
Let's do this!
How about that starting lineup...different year boys.
Btw good national anthem. Give it an 8. Leave room at the top.

Did we kneel (nh)?
Decent student turnout given that the rest of the arena is basically empty.
Sorry folks, I'll have chat working for the first real game :)
Another slow start. Lindenwood's got some shooters.
Is Rowsey hurt?
Suspended for this game.
Elliott had a nice introduction to the mubb family with that alley-oop from Howard. Not a bad first bucket
Cain enters and gets an immediate assist. Could have taken the shot on the drive.
I might have missed this from earlier in the week, but what's up with Rowsey? Any reason he's not in yet?
Down 11-19. Markus 0-4 from deep. They have made 4 in a row
Man, down 10. #FireWojo!
Awesome to see Cheatham nailing threes
17-23. 9 For Haney

Haanif looks way more confident than last year. Glad to see him knocking down threes and not hesitating as much when he gets the ball
Hopefully I get to see the Sacar of open practice. Not overly impressed with him so far this week and not great against UWM.
Won't judge us based on first 10min of season but will say lindenwood is better than a cupcake.
Better D just now on clock violation. Hope that's a sign for the rest of the game. Hate to lose this
Cheatham always feasts on cupcakes. The tough foes...not so much
Elliott with some nice on ball D. (nh)
Elliott really looks comfortable out there. I'm really liking his aggressiveness.

D sounds questionable
Cheatham definitely looks more confident today than he did in conference play last year. But didn't he have a good non conference stretch last year? I feel like it was only when he got into tougher match-ups that he had offensive issues.
Theo is getting significantly less playing time than I expected coming into this.
Who's the boy doing color?

Doesn't he have an ankle injury and the hoping to get him back by the first game?

Remember he just came back to practice this week.

Lindenwood is far worse than a cupcake.
Is there anything about this game that informs your opinion. I'm just saying what I'm seeing.
He sounds young. Is he replacing Mac?
Damn, Lindenwood can SHOOT
Soooooo, what's everyone drinking?
Lacroix for me.

Not sure, but agree that he sounds young.
Also, Lindenwood with the 81% eFG.

Lakefront IPA in the MU bottle coozie.
I know it's just an exhibition and Wojo is probably trying to focus on a few specifics, but the defense is still looking pretty bad. I would have thought that would have been the number one priority all summer. Hopefully this is a fluke.
Lindenwood is shooting 80.8% eFG%. #mubb is at 50.0% and they trail 42-37 at half. Haani w/13p on 110.0% eFG shooting.
If I see one more wide open Lindenwood 3 after we sag off of the far side shooters, I'm gonna lose my mind.

Agree. I'm sure he's looking for people (new people) to show up on D in a game situation. It's great that lindenwood is testing us with a good disciplined offense. They pass, find the open guy and don't chuck threes. Really puts pressure on all our guys to guard. Good opportunity for coaching too.
Ike's red-shirt watch is still active!

Can he play in an exhibition and still redshirt?
Howard is 100% an off guard. And Sacar is a 10-15 minute energy guy.

The fact that they were a 10-9 team in their division 2 conference last year.
This is, by FAR, the worst team we will play this year, unless we get Chaminade.
Lost audio stream
They are now 12-18 from 3
where is audio stream ? - I haven't been able to click through with gomarquette.

Took awhile to start working for me.
Sacar just had the Best MU offensive move of the night... bust didn't complete the 3pt play. But nice move to hoop!
Did we just see 6 fouls in one minute? Is that a record?
Lindenwood wearing down.

And again
Markus is really forcing his shot, and it is not helping us.
Just read this thread does not feel good
What a great learning game. Glad these D2 games don't count.
Sacar gone gain some confidence. All good.
Score?
65-61 MU under 8 t/o
Sacar proving me wrong. Very good in transition. Didn't think he looked very good in the half court.
4 players in double figures and Markus is not one of them. Not a bad sign!
Rowsey is definitely the point guard. Markus much better off the ball.
71-66 4:00
What do you want think about Howard's bad handle...will he just get better or is there someone else? He picks up the dribble too early sometimes ... bad passes under pressure. Does it effect his shooting? (also bad tonight but we know he can do that)
Missed MU eagles post...yes, rowsey

I think he should have eaten Real Chili like Russ did. He would have a triple double.
LOL .. so .. I was listening to the radio stream .. and had hit the 'pause' button as I did stuff around the house. Eventually got back to it, hit play, thinking it didn't buffer all that, and I was listening live. The clock was down to a minute, so I figured the game was almost over .. the clock went to 0 with MU losing by 5. WTF! Came to this thread thinking all hell would be breaking loose from losing the game to Lindenwood.
79-77 MU 1:02
By far the worst I have ever seen Markus play

Absolutely brutal.
4-20 from deep and defense against their 3 point shooting-pretty bad.
They lose this, I ain't gonna feel bad. Sloppy inbounds.
If Markus is going to have a bad game, rather it be this one than any other this season.
Final score?
I've had root canals that were more pleasant than attending this game.
mu wins 81-79

A little worrisome considering last year and since it was stated that D was the priority.

This is the key insight of the thread.
