How's that working out for him?

I'm sure it's just fine. 1 Title in 110 years is...well, not great.

We are 9 years from being there

I noticed you went with 1 in 110 instead of 3 in 112 which would be one every 37 years.

Oh no I rounded to 110. But thank god they got 2 World Series wins before any living Chicago Cubs fan was ever born!

The Brewers have many, many years left before they have as many chances as the Cubs have had.
Nobody said a thing about the Brewers. I just find it funny that the Cubs fans get to see their first WS title ever and suddenly they're the team every baseball team should be aspiring to.

Well this is getting moved to the superbar. Sorry about that.
What teams would you rather be at this moment? If the Cubs aren't in you're top 5 you're crazy.
Cub fans should be grateful as the Seattle Mariners and the Washington Nationals have never even played in a World Series.

I don't always agree with Mr. SK, but this one is spot on.

I didn't bring up the Brewers. Frank is a White Sox fan.
And actually, the White Sox are setting themselves up nicely.

Cool gay slur, Mr. SK. Folks must be proud. Maybe your children too. Good on you.

Which is why I was replying to the post that did bring up the Brewers, not your post.
Frank is as thin skinned of a professional athlete as I've ever seen in my life and tries to play it off like he's the cool nerd in basketball. I have no idea why this was ever in Hangin' at the Al, a thread about Giannis and a former Rodent. But I also have no idea how Cubs fans could possibly think other baseball fans should be envious of the Cubs and their fans. They have been a very good franchise for the last 5 years. They have also won very little of meaning in the very long history of their franchise.

They're in the top group along with the likes of the Astros, Indians, Dodgers, Yankees, Red Sox, and Nationals. You can order them however you want or for whatever reasons you want (young talent, money to spend, etc.), but there seem to be 7 franchises that are set up to have big success in the immediate future.
But again, it's not like the Cubs have dominated the league. Very strong 5 year period, got a title, and are set up to contend for the immediate future. But could they also not win another title with this core? It's certainly possible.

Just posted it here should have in the whole Herro/Kaminsky thread. But secretly I wanted to bring the Kostas debate back and sure enough derailed into baseball :P

That has to have earned a banning. Holy crap.

Obviously they might not win another title. No team can be built to guarantee a title. The best option is to build a sustainable team that gives you multiple shots at a title by making the playoffs. After that its a crap shoot.
Speaking of the rodents they got a recruit a few days ago named Taylor Currie, 3* according to 247, he originally committed to michigan but decommitted
Kaminsky got posterized by 40 year old Manu Ginobli last night
Best was when Frank ripped on Jason Heyward on Twitter, only to have him hit the game winning extra inning homer against the Brewers the next night.

I know. Next thing you know, they'll let a guy who was banned keep coming back under different pseudonyms.
After a heartfelt apology saying how much he's changed, of course.

Not to mention a mod specifically told him to stay out of superbar discussions. Yet, here we are
