Have they released the date for Madness this year
It's up there. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Alums gonna go???
According to the season ticket brochure, Madness is on 10/6. The season ticket holder open practice is on 10/20. So I would say that the countdown banner needs to be corrected.
BTW: On my phone, probably due to security settings, the update section does not show up. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
But seriously, when is Madness. Please don't say see above now that there are potentially multiple dates.

I assume the practice is at the Al this year? Bucks home opener is 10/20.
Ummm did this season ticket holder broucher come in the mail? I'm a ticket holder and definitely don't remember a broucher?
But also it's my first year so I might have missed some things.

Long time STH and I've not seen any dates.

I believe it came with the renewal information (how else would I have gotten one?). There was a list of "important" dates which included Madness on 10/6 and the open practice on 10/20. This was probably published before the NBA schedule was released, so perhaps the open practice date will change(or move to the Al).
Couple of things. The STH Open Practice can't be moved to the Al on Oct. 20th, as MU Volleyball host Xavier that night. Second, the point of the STH Open Practice is to be at the Bradley Center. I hear it will be Thursday, Oct. 19th at the Bradley Center.
On a side note, many dates everyone is getting is from your broucher that comes in the mail.
MU Volleyball also host Providence on 10/6 also

Yes they have released the entire schedule online...
Does anyone know when the Conference schedule should be released? Don't know if its right around the corner or no where near the right time

IMO Madness needs to be amped up a bit. All these schools are having concerts at their version of madness. Kentucky brought Drake a few years ago. Not saying bring Drake or some huge million dollar name but maybe bring a DJ or a local Milwaukee rapper for the students. Something that will make it more appealing especially to recruits who are there.

Hmmm, anyone out there with Spectrum Sports -- I'd be willing to trade my login to CBS-SN or FS-2 or any Fox regional network for your spectrum sports login ;D

PC has had people there the last few years as well and I believe Nova. MU Madness definitely needs to be ramped up. The one with the NBA lock out guys coming in to scrimmage was easily the best I saw when I was there between 2009-2013. Van to D-Wade on the Alley Oop

Shameless plug: if anyone is looking for a great place for BBQ on Friday, or during HC weekend, my son-in-law is the manager of Doc's Commerce Smokehouse on the corner of 4th and Wells. Ask for Brian Atkinson and tell him Sir Lawrence sent you in and he'll take care of you.
It will be a good place to go before games--the food is ready to go from the smoker, so there isn't much of a wait.

Yeah. There are probably more people that are skipping Madness because their favorite rerun of Shark Tank is being rerun at that time than there are people skipping Madness because the USA men's soccer team is playing Panama.

I seriously doubt that. I bet if one would walk around the MU community during Madness, there would be a number of people watching the USMNT.
I am one of the few interested in the mens US soccer team as well
Madness is the same every year. I'm skipping it for the USMNT game as well.
IDK, I'm not going to begrudge an important soccer match. But sometimes sacrifice is necessary. Even though I secretly enjoy Dancing With the Stars, it does 'count' on chick's side of the ledger enabling me to watch part of a second football game after ARodg has vanquished another hapless opponent. 8-)
No Cubs fans here? Madness, late innings of Cubs/Nationals, USMNT...
The remote buttons are going to get a workout tomorrow night.
1. Cubs
2. USMNT
3. Madness- although no streaming option this year correct?
This late in the cycle, the US usually has qualification "in the bag." However not this year.

I'll get to watching Madness at some point, but tomorrow is arguably the biggest match our nation has played since Belgium at the 2014 World Cup. Working all weekend, so Madness likely waits for next week, which kills the anticipation more than a little.
I do like to attend Madness, but there's no way I'd avoid knowing the USA result all weekend long.
And while also a Cubs fan, tomorrow night is meaningless compared to World Cup qualification, especially considering how poor this qualification has gone in general. Absolute must-win tomorrow.

You need a ticket. In your name. With ID. Driver's license is fine. I have no sense if any remain available but 'pre-sale' (they were actually free) ended a couple days ago.
