Come on!
Yeah, the refs have been very good tonight so far.
I was refering to the hacks under the mu hoop.

Rather let them call it looser- helps us on the perimeter
where is Burke? Our size is nonexistent and they are blocking everything inside - at least the ones Varro isn't fumbling away
The refs aren't the ones making DJ and Wes a combined 2-for-10. We are getting what we deserve.
Come on... please
The refs didnt suck in the first half. We did.
what happened all those effective plays we saw begote wvu/ they are a sloppy three point shooting team again
its not the refs who sucks, unfortunately its us! >:(
Wes needs to start hitting some jumpers...
Wes is one player I think we have to start worrying about. His offense has disappeared.
This is embarrassing, if not sad. I'm going to bed!! :'(

Agreed...it looks like we don't have it tonight. If we win it's by the grace of God.
frankly- we are getting a ton of calls
The refs have let us play all game. I wouldnt mind these refs for the rest of the season.
I take back my previous statement...God is awesome.
The refs had more to do with us winning tonight than they did with us losing to WVU.

Close- helped us lot tonight- hurt us a ton there. Think they hurt us more cuz they took our players out of the game w/ fouls
for the first time in my life I think I have to say Higgins actually did an ok job tonight. Didn't see too many outlandish calls to complain about
The refs could have called another dozen fouls on MU tonight, easily. So we had that going for us.
After seeing Higgins call that travel on the SHU break late in the 2nd half, I decided I'd take back a very small portion of the comments I've made about him over the years.
I _almost_ made Higgins the stud of the game...
I agree. I thought for sure that fast break was going to be a foul on Maurice. Instead a travel call.
Not only a travel call but an enthusiastic windup to go with it. He roared back for that call! I'll try to get video of it.

That was a great call... Although I was sitting on the opposite side of the court... it didn't look like a travel at all.... ;D
Seemed like Higgins whole attitude changed after that argument between him and the SHU asst coach or coach during the long-ish break near the end (how's that for a vague description) ... maybe with about 3 minutes left in the game? It was a refreshing change. Don't mess with the leprechaun ... ?

You are right 100%. We are quick to complain when the refs take a game away from us. In my heart, I believe that had the Duke game been officiated evenly/fairly, we would have won. The refs had nothing to do with us losing to WV, I thought they were fair. More importantly, there's a good chance we lose an evenly officiated game last night. That's what home court advantage is for, I guess. When you constantly grab and reach like we do, there are going to be nights when the refs make you pay.

Yes, MUs aggressive style of play leads to the likelihood of more whistles against them in an evenly matched game. The complaints of poor officiating after a loss or poorly played game is so tiring.
