Sorry, there wasn't a good April Fool's Day thread yet ;D
God damnnit
This explains why he wasn't in the NCAA three point shooting contest.
Would work better if he was actually allowed to enter. Doesn't meet the age requirement, since he will not turn 19 this calendar year.
I knew before I clicked. Gotta up your game TAMU.

That was on purpose actually. I originally titled it "Andrew Rowsey to Grad Transfer" but I thought with Markus I could at least say you should have known!

Never knew you had a sense of humor. Who knew?
Wouldn't be a bad thing if true. Doing so would give hm the chance to get invited to combine, maybe workout for teams, talk to teams and then come back. Extra practice with coaches if he get an invite.

Should we tell him?

+1
With the new rules, he really has nothing to lose. At the very least it will instill some humility in him (not saying that he's not humble, but it would make him that much more humble, which, IMO is a good thing).
I would think, given his age, that he would impress some coaches, and, as a consequence, represent the MU brand well.

He's not draft eligible.

Wait a minute. Weren't you the guy who said something about Markus going to the NBA after his freshman year - like last spring. I remember being bummed out by the thought.
If he were 6'3" I would have believed this. But at 5'10" or so, I anticipate him being here all 4 years.
When I saw that headline my junk went limp. Now that I see it's an April fools thing the staff is grand again.

Have you been telling jokes this whole time? That went right over my head!
A player must be 19 during the calendar year to be draft eligible. FYI

Ha he's been saying Markus 2 NBA since then (huge props, the kid's incredible) but JayBee almost certainly would have known Markus would not be draft eligible until after sophomore year.
