@Sapakoff
Coach K said he noticed Marquette HC Steve Wojciechowski signal in plays and Thornwell then tell the Gamecocks "what they were going to run"
it could not have been defensive signals because we don't have any.
If true, then hats off to Thornwell (or Martin) for doing his research.
Yeah, I did catch one offensive trip in the second half in which Wojo touched his chin with one finger, immediately followed by an SC defender doing the same thing.

+100
I didn't even know stealing signs was a thing in hoops.
You'd have thought Coach K might have taught him to avoid that! Though I had no idea that was a thing in basketball

It is, I remember going to film and scout with my dad a couple of times when I was younger. When I was filming, he told me whenever the coach calls out a play, say it audibly on the camera. Same thing if you saw a signal like a head tap, that was a pretty common one.
Good conspiracy theory.

Yep, saw this too. Wojo touched his chin, thornwell then does the same thing calling it out to his team. Don't usually see it that blatant in basketball.
If true that's a major coaching gaffe on Wojo
Stealing signals is part of scouting. SC did it right.
If true this is amateur hour. Wojo still has some learning to do.

True but self scouting, recognizing tendencies and making adjustments is part of good coaching/game prepping. This sounds like a very rookie coaching mistake. Again that's assuming it's true

Starting to believe that Wojo learned very little from k in his 20 or so years there.

Saw the same.
Kudos to SC if true.
