Support the ladies today as they start their tourney run.
Take care of business against Quinnipiac, beat Miami and then exact some revenge on South Carolina, this time though, at a neutral site on the West Coast.
Also, my womens bracket is sill perfect.
I went out on a limb and picked UConn.
This is a game they can and should win - I hope they come out playing well today. Go Marquette!

Imagine how many brackets will be busted if they actually lose during the tourney :). But yeah I don't see that happening - I feel like the Women's Tournament is once again a battle to see who gets to be blown out by UCONN.
Looks like actual ESPN2 will be jumping around, but the full game is on an ESPN Alternate channel. Probably also ESPN 3.

If you are in Wisconsin, you will get the whole Marquette game. But yeah other parts of the country are going to get whip around coverage. And unfortunately that isn't always the most compelling game either - they often stick with blowouts for a long time. There is also a direct TV channel just for the MU game.
Ugh. 9-0 start for the Bobcats, MU can't get anything going on offense.
In Wisconsin...why am I getting Syracuse/Iowa St on ESPN 2??

I'm on DirecTV, it's channel 789.
Terrible defense. Quinnipiac outworking them on both ends. Doubling up MU in the first quarter, 26-13. Marquette slow on passes, not able to disrupt them at all defensively, just no real positives. Kieger needs to get after them, or this will be more embarrassing than the last 9 minutes last night.
Feels like a continuation so far
At this rate they'll lose by 30+.
8-0 run has MU creeping back in, trail 31-23 in the second quarter.
Nice rally under way
And now the lead is back to 13 at half after getting it down to 5. Absolutely embarrassing performance so far.
Rally undone at the end, back down by 13. Halftime, 43-30. Guessing that Kieger v Miami storyline may need to be put on hold.
This looks like a repeat of last night. Quick offensive team meets active defensive team and defense wins. On the other side, Q can't miss (shooting 60%...They average 40%)
Do they really believe they can complete the entry pass from behind the 3 pt line with their teammate literally under the rim and their defender facing the ball? They've tried it 3 times

Every time they do it I shake my head. Doing the same thing and expecting different results...
ND just lost.
14-2 run, MU down 54-47 with under 9 to play. Trying to get back in it.
Heck of a run. MU was down 19, now it's 56-53. 18-4 run has them in position to make a game of it. Tune into ESPN2 or DirecTV Channel 789, Villanova will still be there in 10 minutes.
3 point game!

Or WatchESPN.com for those of you like me who don't get it on ESPN2 right now.
Amazing comeback so far. Hope they can keep the momentum after the TO
The Quinnipiac whistler is annoying.
I guess you guys haven't watched the MU Ladies all season ! ! !
Elsewhere, New Mexico State attempting to become the first 15 seed to upset a 2. Leading Stanford 52-48 in the 4th quarter.
65-63, MU trailing with the ball and 1:19 to play. Should be a great finish.
All I am seeing is Stanford game. They keep switching games. They switched away from Marquette approx 52-36 down.....and they did not start with Marquette. Showed some of its first half. And I cannot get the game on ESPN3. Ok now going to switch back with only 17.6 seconds left.
Discussing flagrant, which it shouldn't have been. Definitely went for the ball.
Bobcats lead 67-65 with 6 seconds and Quinnipiac at the line. MU has never tied or led.
MU will get a shot for a 3 to tie. 2.6 in regulation.
Hiedeman has a three rattle in...and then out at the buzzer. Marquette loses.
Couldn't have been much closer than that.
This could end up being the worst effing sports day ive ever been alive for. Both Marquette teams lose, England rugby lost, if Nova and Northwestern lose im gonna fuc*ing lose it.

Umm the boys lost yesterday
Kind of reminded me of MU - Tulsa in '02. Hopefully the follow up results match.

May want to take a crisis management course.
So Quinnipiac to the Big East then......

That would have been fitting since Stanford is the only #1 to ever lose to a #16 (Harvard) - in Stanford's defense they did have two key players go out with ACL injuries right before the tournament.
I couldn't watch today's MU game today and maybe that was a good thing. I watched Hiedeman's last shot via the DVR but I don't think I can bring myself to watch any more of the game. This is a disappointing loss but it was a nice season.
