My consumption of the first round of the tournament has been far more enjoyable with MU playing one of the last games of round 1. So much easier to enjoy the games without the stress of MU playing yet.

+1 man, I can actually WATCH the game instead of having to 'watch' a crapty stream during the day.
-
I hate it I want to watch them now.

I like the time. Effectively, last game of the first round. I can enjoy Thursday and Friday games, and see the game at home instead of sneaking out of the office. Sweet deal.
-
Eastern time zone guy thiinks it sucks.
-
It like it. Need to stay sober enough to enjoy game tho. That make be a challenge w 9pm tip.

Same boat and I agree. Although I hadn't thought about it the way mudish is. An early day one loss would've definitely put a damper on round one enjoyment

It really is kind of strange to have a 9:50 tipoff on the East coast. I could see if this was a game on the West coast to have such a late tipoff.
-
Hate it. I'm antsy.
-
At least if we lose I can go to sleep immediately.

Nova, X, Butler, MU to round of 32
-
Let's hope the dukie fans hang around and chant "Wojo" during our game
-
I like it. Excited to play by the time it rolls around. With the first games, you just dread the possibility of being out before it really felt like it got underway when there are 50+ teams still in it.

This exactly...it's been refreshing to actually be able to enjoy the rest of the tournament first, without the stress of MU playing. Normally they have played early afternoon or early evening, so this is a nice change. I can't remember MU ever having this late of a game in the tourney before. I like this even better than if it were last game Thursday.
-
Better late than never.
-
Save the best for last!
-
My only complaint is trying to find a bar that will flip on the MU game in Lexington with the UK game playing the same time.

Not the tourney, but I can remember the Great Alaska Shootout Championship Game started around 11:30 pm Eastern. I believe that game was against South Carolina as well IIRC.

Late St Pat's Day? Should be a rowdy crowd, one way or the other!

Late east coast start plus you can't leave once you enter for the second session + no beer at event. May be a sleepy crowd.

Most USC fans carry flasks, judging by the games I've attended. Bourbon, mostly!

Love the late game. No risk of being pissed for the first two days and the anticipation is fun.
-
Waiting another 1.5 hours is gonna be a real biotch.

Unfortunately I can still remember Austin Croshere's performance in a later Friday night game. This feels similar.
