Because this always works...... SC's record against Georgia and Vanderbilt was 2-1, sweeping Georgia, losing to Vandy. MU, of course, was 2-0. So clearly........
I wouldnt use the transitive property in this one. They curb stomped Michigan.
Marquette beat Fresno
who beat Wyoming
who beat UNLV
who beat Southern Illinois
who beat St. Louis
who beat George Mason
who beat Penn State
who beat Georgia Tech
who beat Clemson
who beat South Carolina
We got this.

Not to nitpick, but couldn't you just say "We beat Fresno State who beat UNLV"? Adding the Wyoming game in there just seems like stat padding. ;D
Six degrees of Francis Marion, hey?
Marquette lost to Pitt, which lost to Duquesne and NC State, both of which fired their coaches.
So, Wojo has to go.
Marquette beat Villanova.
Ipso fatso, Marquette is the defending national champion and one of the favorites to win it all again!
Doesn't get any simpler than that.

True, but Villanova beat Marquette. Thus, the transitive property provides that Marquette is either better than or worse than Marquette.

But Marquette beat Villanova more recently, so clearly we're winning the National Championship.
