Which will have higher TV ratings? The NCAA game on a obscure channel (TruTV) or the NIT game at the same time on ESPN?
Which matters more, the importance of the game or the channel it is on?
The NIT game will definitely have higher ratings.
They both come in the same package. So Trutv
Even though many people don't get TruTV, it shouldn't be too hard to beat the 6 people that usually watch NIT games on TV.
This reminds me of an ever beat up issue-this time of the year especially, the ncaa makes a crap-ton and a half of money. I was never a fan of payments to players, but there has to be some way the players can get something out of this besides a free education(except n. Carolina). At least in Louisville, they get their jones's tickled
