I believe Markus Howard is poised for breakout NCAA Tournament. Markus could have several hot 3 point shooting games in a row and literally carry the team all the way to the final four.
Let's just beat SC

Why stop at the Final Four? How about four straight titles!
I think Heldt is poised for a breakout tournament. Will average a double double and take down Duke with a monster performance.
JJJ had that look in his eyes today. Young fella going to have a game Friday.

You mean a tear in his eye?
In all seriousness, i hope so. Id be ecstatic if we won a couple games, or even just one. Really want Luke and JJ to win at least one.

And Franklin is ready to Explode.
SC guards go 6ft 5, 6ft 6 and 6ft 2, 225 in their 3 guard offense. Will be a matchup issue on defense for Howard and Rowsey. I look for more JJJ, Cheatham and Reinhardt as the factors. Howard and Rowsey may be quicker, etc, but need to makes stops and that is a considerable size deficiency.
Expecting big games from are seniors JJJ, KR, and Fish
I don't trust your predictions after the vast majority of them were wrong about this year

In fact, less than 2 weeks ago he was only 17!
In one of his interviews yesterday, Markus mentioned he was 17. He didn't even get the memo.

I want this to be true.
But what I also know is true, is that South Carolina has the #5 3 point % defense in the nation.
Let's be honest.
Friday is going to be hard. If we win, Sunday will be extremely difficult.
SC held Michigan to a ridiculously low shooting percentage a few days after Michigan had beaten Marquette. SC had some tough games down the stretch. But don't think for a moment that SC's defensive statistics are a mirage or don't matter. It is going to be a game of strength versus strength.

Is there a lack of
hubris in the air?
Will be a tough game need Wojo to have a good game plan and the players execute

I just hope we can protect the ball. If our shots start falling we'll have a chance. Otherwise it will be just like Seton Hall.

You could have written that 31 times this season.

Better hurry up, you only have 4 days to write up one of these for every guy on the roster.

I'm all for getting drunk on optimism but you are absolutely correct - just like the Hall if they impose their physicality, and we go a little cold, we'll have a big issue.
Also, it's threads like this where other fans come over and conclude "what a bunch of ungrounded tools". Some because they don't understand teal or that 75% of responses are mocking the original post, but some because it's a preposterous declaration to make from a 10 seed.

If Markus literally carries the team on his back all the way to Phoenix, Arizona, there's a story much bigger than Marquette basketball!
If Markus breaks out, some Proactive will clear it right up.

You would think this would be the case, but as we saw against Seton Hall - it was not. We went small against Hall with Rowsey and Howard going for 34 and 31 minutes. Duane 15. Length bothers all three of those guys, tremendously.
Playing Howard, Rowsey, and Duane together is a fools errand against teams like Hall and South Carolina. Hopefully Wojo adjusts, yet even after seeing in the first half against Hall the three small lineup was ineffective with Duane really struggling, he still rolled out the same starting lineup in the 2nd half, and not surprisingly, the doors got blown off.
The clear cut best players on the team are: Howard, Rowsey, JJ, Reinhardt, Hauser, Fischer, Heldt. Max their minutes.
I love the optimism on this board. Getting psyched!
