Title: Number of Wins to Make Tourney a Success for BE?

Less than 3 from Nova would be disappointing.  Hopefully Providence takes at least the play-in game.  You'd like to see at least 2 from the group of MU, X, and SH. Would like to get 3+ out of Butler and Creighton combined.

Each win nets approximately $1.6MM for the conference and 160k for MU: https://www.forbes.com/sites/chrissmith/2014/03/20/how-a-single-ncaa-tournament-win-is-worth-1-6-million/#7cc018f932b0

Villanova has the toughest path to the final 4

I'm only happy if Marquette gets all 11+ wins.

Nova probably hoping that they dont have to carry the entire conference on their back again. Meanwhile, Depaul will be watching the checks roll in for being nothing but a doormat.

That would be a strange turn of events. Win 6 and then win another 5 going back through the other side of the bracket.

Would like to see 3 teams in sweet 16. Certainly in the short history of the new BE with only one team/year making it to the second weekend is not good.

I'm just happy we are in along with 70% of the BE.  Creighton and Xavier are still playing without key contributors so they are kind of a crapshoot.  Need Butler and Nova to play well, but will not be upset if the BE underperforms.

To make the tourney a success, I'd say playing to seed. That would be 7 wins. I'm hoping we out-do that, but I'd say that's the over/under for success.

If we play to seed wouldn't that be 10? 6 for Nova, 2 for Butler, 1 for Creighton and 1 for the PC play in game?

I'm saying 4 for 'Nova, 2 for Butler, 1 for Creighton. Anything in the Final Four is gravy, as would be the play-in.

Would like to see 8 wins minimum.  That would be winning record of 8-7.

If four out of the seven won their first game,  two out of the remaining four won their next game,  and Nova gets to the Final four,  that is your eight wins.
