I don't want to read your crap in legit threads.
Thank you.

They exist to bother you/us. They certainly won't obey your demands.

How arrogant do you have to be to assume that people care enough about what you think that they would post on this forum simply to bother you. Geez
God forbid people complain and throw some heat on a board after a pathetic deflating loss. who cares if we make the tournament or not, people can post in frustration after a dominating loss. What do you want to happen? we all hold hands and sing Koom-by-Ah? jeez deal with it pal. Oh by the way, the team was destroyed and played like horse ass today

I am as big a Marquette fan as you or anybody else. I am not the least bit deflated. See you in the Dance.
remember telling your little brother to "stop looking at me" cuz it bugged the schmit out of you? mommmmm, he won't stop looking at me....you must have grown up an ONLY child

Its mostly because I wouldn't categorize this loss as pathetic, deflating, or or dominating. But there is a population of people who seem to think that about every loss.

I wonder if you were an only child. Big brothers need only give one warning. Little brothers are the ones who can't stop the bigger brother from annoying them.

How could this not be deflating? Any kind of stop to a good run, which we had to close out the regular season, is always deflating. With the way we played against X and Creighton, I thought we had the right momentum to make a run in the BET. To come back down to earth sucks.

Better to get a reality check in the BET than go into the NCAA Tournament overconfident. Hopefully the team will show up hungrier if we make the tourney.

It was a bump in the road. We might have to check the tire pressure, but we aren't calling AAA just yet.

I go back and forth on how to expect this team to respond to a loss. Sometimes it seems like it really gets them down, but sometimes they come back out hungry. The inconsistency we've seen this season has been such a double-edged sword. I do think that our seniors are going to bring it next week, but I'll keep my fingers crossed just in case.

We need the troll anthem ITT for the sake of completeness.

How could a team with our record and the seed we'll get possibly go into the tournament "overconfident"? I don't think the stinker yesterday (and it was a stinker) will hurt us in the tournament but I'd rather we go in with a little positive momentum.

As of 12:00 left in the game Pomeroy had us as just a 10% win probability. Doors got blown off those first 8 minutes of second half.

That doesn't matter to me. Basketball is a game of runs. Hall had theirs in the middle of the half. We went on a tear at the end to make them nervous. They hit their normal % from the FT line and we win.

You are free to define it however you like. I'm just less easily deflated. I was low after the St. John's and Georgetown debacles. Losing by 6 on a neutral court to a top 50 team that's a bad matchup for us? Meh.

Hmm. I am both a little brother and a big brother. And I couldn't disagree with this more.
Can we pin this thread?

I'm just think it'd be a good year-long pilot. Not to mention that we all need a safe space to be irrational keyboard warriors calling for other people's jobs every now and again

i was 2nd oldest of 5 and we were all annoying to each other at some time or another. my oldest bro-he needed a few warning shots every now and then. only children wouldn't know that, now would they? ::)
I guess trolls are considered anyone who says anything negative about the Bball program. Freedom of speech be damned !
I assume the NCAA committee will look at our resume and understand that many Top 50 wins were against teams on the decline or missing a key player. Therefore, I believe the NIT is our future.
That being said, I cautiously understand Wojo is our coach for 2 more years. I applaud him for having the courage to make much needed line up changes in the worst of days. He apparently has a great recruiting class on the way. Smart of him to design a temp team of hot 3 pt assassins to get thru 16-17. The team seems to be engaged. I will not miss the lost potential of JJJ and Luke followed up with the Hanif debacle. We've made progress but still 2 years from a final grade. Hopefully Northwestern's monumental progress motivates Wojo to understand someone else has the future Duke job in hand
Freedom of speech? Wow! I never knew Scoop was government owned and operated!

Even if eliminate our road wins against CU and X (makes no sense to do so, but I am proving a point), we still have more top 50 wins than nearly all bubble teams.

There you go. Troll knew his role and stuck to the script. And kept in in the proper thread. Bravo.

Not to mention that by this logic the committee would also remove 3 top 50 wins from Seton Hall (CREI w/o Watson, X w/o Sumner, and SC w/o Thornwell). And 2 top 50 wins and a top 50 loss from Providence.
SHU beat MU 2 out of 3 and lost one in OT. Beat us bad when it counted and they are now an 8 -9 seed. Hope I'm wrong because if we shoot 55% from 3 the next 2 games, we r in S16

Would not the NCAA committee do the same thing for PC, SH playing those teams with hurt players? Is CU not playing for the Big East title today, despite the injury? How in tune are you to injuries in the Pac 12, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC where teams benefited?
