There will not be any easy one, especially when you are ranked. With the ranking comes a target on your back. WVU is a good team and very well coached. Perhaps feasting on cupcakes and an injury plagued Providence team set us up to get beat. Lets see how we regroup for the quick turnaround Tuesday.
That said, the key test will be can we hold off ND at home this Saturday. I think ND is very strong and Harangody will be trouble.

I hate pompous crap like this. MU's been in the Big East for two seasons. If fans haven't picked up on the fact that road games are always tough regardless of opponent, date, or moon phase then they aren't really paying attention.
Did you really think MU was going to go undefeated over 18 games in the Big East? Please. A WVU team that choked away a double OT game and got sidetracked on the road was always going to be favored to win today.

Hardly a pompous comment, perhaps your reply is. I have no illusions of anything except tough games every night, even more so when you are ranked.
Everyone agrees that conference road games are going to be tough, and we will not win all of them. But, we played very poorly. That is a fact. WVU is good, quick, their bigs are better, and they hit threes when it counted. They were better tonight, but we definitely did not play anywhere near our ability.

We're in the Big East? No crap?
