I listened to his press conference. Boeheim never wanted to join the ACC . He loved the  Big East and made that known at the time . He has no frame of reference as to why having the ACC in Greensboro made sense and why the ACC was the premier post season tournament.  I went to many ACC tournaments in Greensboro and they were were very competitive and fun. Easy for most of the schools to get to.

Tradition matters. That is why the Big East does well in the Garden.

Big Ten wasting time to go to D.C. And NYC. Their tournament has always sucked because for years everyone focused on the regular season. They should just go back to that and forget the lousy tournament .

Indy does a good job putting on the big ten tourney. Wish they could keep it there and make it a drive instead of a flight for most fanbases.

It will be interesting to see what the attendance numbers are this year and next year for the Big Ten.  If Maryland loses to NU today the final attendance numbers could be really bad.

Someone at the NIT has a sense of humor because Syracuse is hosting UNC Greensboro in the first round.

Maybe Boeheim will suggest playing it in Greensboro instead.

Hopefully the city of Greensboro will offer it up through a Tweet at the very least.  Or Tweet about them at least having the ability to play a basketball game in their city.
