Our draw sucks. Seton Hall. And then, if MU stops the double double nightmare that is Delgado, next up is the winner of the Nova- SJU/Gtown winner, errrrr..... Nova. SHU has been hot and they know how to beat MU. Ah, well. I will just keep saying 19-11, 10-8, 7 top 50 wins to myself.
Not ideal, but is what it is. We're in either way.
Lose to SHU may actually get us an 11 seed (but a bye) which would be nice for seeding purposes. Obviously not what I am rooting for, but that is the positive.
Here's my takeaway. In 2016-17, Marquette finished FOURTH in the BEast when the preseason predictions had us SEVENTH. #gravy
Both Seton Hall games were 3 point games in January. I believe MU is a better team now. I think it will be a close game and definitely believe we can win it.
Really hope it doesn't come down to having to corral a rebound off of a missed free throw. (shudder)
The way MU's offense is rolling right now, I don't think seton hall has the offensive fire power to keep up. Nova on the other hand clearly can.

Just try to remember Lady Violet Saying "Don't be such a Defeatist, it's So Middle Class."
The boards will be a problem, of course, but we ARE playing better than when we met SHU previously. We haven't lost a game since the stinker @GT a month ago (we did have one stolen vs. PC - 31 to 10 FT's). Doable.
