Title: EARN This
Post by: jsglow on March 01, 2017, 06:30:01 PM
We're all indebted to the guys on Scoop doing all the advanced analysis.  But I want this the old fashioned way.  Play like Warriors tonight and Saturday.  EARN this.

Agreed. I don't want to back into a tournament bid (though I'd take it and RUN). I want to claim the damn thing.

GO WARRIORS!

Well, truthfully the only way they can really earn a berth is to win the Big East Tourney.  Everything else is left up to the voodoo performed by the selection committee.  That said, two more wins should make the voodoo a little more likely to come out on our side.

Rooting hard for these guys.  Yes, they can be frustrating, but I am on the side that chooses to see the progress and note the future pieces of this team, rather than chastise them for not living up to your lofty goals of "what this program should be."  Go root for Kentucky if you want to see a continually changing cast of characters take a team deep into the tournament before running off to chase millions in the league. I'm excited to watch Sam and Markus and Matt develop, Harry play next year and Wojo continue assembling the pieces to create a solid program in the long term.  I'm proud of what these boys have done this year, dance or no dance.

Or win it because a bunch of Xavier dudes trip over one another at the opening tip and have to leave the game with concussions.

Really I'm not picky.

Love the thought. Fixed the end for you, though.
