Title: Matt Heldts
Post by: silverback on February 22, 2017, 02:40:38 AM
Matt Heldts. Time and time again on Fox.

Remember a time when professional broadcasters calling national games used to get the players' names right? It's sad when you realize today's hack announcers are no Al Michael or Dick Enborgs.

I remember watching the 1991 World Series and listening to Jack Buck call the Twins' Greg Gagne, "Verne Gagne" through seven games.

I remember Al having trouble with names, but that made him unique.
