It's that time of year again! A bit early, a lot can change of course, but here's the start of our weekly look at the conf tourney bracket.

If the tourney started today i would have MU vs Nova in the Semis then probably nova winning(not doubting are chances). Nova against Creighton
At least it seems unlikely we will be playing on Wednesday this year.
Lotta golf yet ta be played, hey?

If each win is a birdie and each loss is a bogey, we need to shoot under par the rest of the season.
How far do you think Creighton will drop in the standings?
I can easily see them finishing 3-6 in their remaining games; be interesting to see if they can get it figured out without Watson.
If they do, then McDermott should be COY.
Big movers from this point forward look to be G-town and Creighton.
Get me that 3 seed so I don't have to take a day off work.
This conference is hell. The 9th place team has three wins already and just knocked off the 2nd place team.
With Watson and Sumner going down, X and Creighton have very precarious positions. A top 3 finish is a more than reasonable goal. Plus, with a home game against Butler, a 2nd place finish isn't that far fetched. Of course, this conference is hell (see above) so we could also end up in the bottom half.
I'm worried the Big East will end up with Nova at the top, Depaul at the bottom and a bunch of 9-9ish teams in the middle.

Could happen. I think Butler gets to at least 12. X, Creighton and Marquette all in the 10-11 win range, most likely. Seton Hall and Providence between 8-9 wins. Georgetown and SJU between 7-8.
That gets at least 5 teams in, maybe a 6th out of SHU and Providence, but with the recent injuries in the conference, not sure any of those teams besides Nova are real Elite 8 type teams, unfortunately.

I completely agree with this analysis.
