Remember when everyone said height was going to be a problem for us at the beginning of the year???
Actually, I think it was rebounding. And, that has been an issue in some games.

It still is.
Its definitely still a concern for the team. Luckily a lot of rebounding the last couple games has just been due to a large increase of effort/toughness. However, there are still teams out there (SHU) that will kill MU on the boards regardless of how tough MU plays. I think out of the top teams in the league, we match up against Nova pretty well given the types of players they have. It skews perceptions a bit

Only for some... I can see over the people in front of us at the BC. My son, on the other hand spends more time on his feet than the students to see the game.
Height doesn't hurt in the rebounding department, however going after rebounds helps too. Especially on the defensive end. Lots of second chance points for Nova and other. Wilson stood out against Villanova going for rebounds, amongst other things.
It still is. SHU killed us on the boards and they won't be the last. Good shooting covers a lot of ills. But there will be more days where teams take it to the basket with impunity and MU's short guys are helpless to contest at the rim.
Can't teach it.......
It is still an issue.Teams with high average height like Michigan and Pitt have huge advantages against us.
Our next opponent has a rotation where 7/9 players are 6"6 or taller....and one of the 2 is the last guy on the bench....
While we are on height, why aren't player heights listed on the MU roster in the Marquette web site or on TV game rosters?

Never trust college heights. Lazar Hayward and Jae Crowder's height were fudged like 2" each.
