Title: Last nights atmosphere
Post by: Mu2323 on January 25, 2017, 07:42:56 AM
The student section was electric light night when the game was on the line. You could feel the momentum on each 3 pointer made in the final 5 minutes. When the 3 was hit to go tie the game at 70 the place was almost deafening. I have never heard the Bradley center rocking that way.

On a side not the upper deck was not even half way filled but was louder than games where the stadium is sold out. Last night is definitely a night i will never forget. I have about 4 minutes of video from Villanova's last shot to me running from the 400 section down to 200 and then onto the court.

Amazing night!

I remember that game, was in the front row of the student section. That was loud, helped that it was a full house.

There's a certain feel to a sell out, especially when you see gold shirts all over the stadium. But the feeling of a big upset is impossible to beat. Hearing the crowd and student section come to life in the last 6-7 minutes was incredible. Seeing Stan on the sideline going nuts and getting everyone fired up seemed like the turning point in the atmosphere to me.
