I haven't seen him at the Bradley Center in years.

When is the last time anyone saw him at the BC?
I just asked him. Someone is feeding him faulty intel:
me: Have you been going to Marquette games?
Him: Not yet.
me: Why not?
him: It's been sold out. I'll have to check it out someday.
Just saw him after the Seton Hall game at the BC. We chatted. Same old Freeway

This is troubling. I'm an '11 grad and I know him oh so well.

He once told one of my friends to "unnatural carnal knowledge his negative ass" for disagreeing with Freeway on the notion that we were bound for glory, including back to back national titles.

Thanks for this, sitting in a training at work in a room of 25 people and I ended up laughing out loud at this. haha, great way to go into lunch break
Bucks - Sixers, Eastern Conference Finals, 2001.
Freeway and Sal Palantonio exchanged in a spirited debate on the front steps of Turners. Mr. Milwaukee sparring with Mr. Philadelphia. It was a beautiful sight.

That sounds amazing. You don't happen to remember the core of their debate?
Marquette Women's Basketball Game, 2005
Freeway partook in a spirited exchange with his reflection in the Al McGuire Center windows along Wells. He then discussed the 1998-99 Cincinnati Bearcats with Marquette Ticket Manager Mike Guenther.

Im with ya. Graduated in 12 and no idea who this guy is. Sounds like a legend though from the wiki page.
2006, Freeway fell off the stage at Buckheads on 3rd st after a MUBB game.
It was hilarious. But also not that funny. Felt bad but laughed.

Ahh Buckheads, I miss that place. Couldnt beat the free beer parties or $1 mixer parties, and odds are half the time you didn't even know the person who it was for. RIP.
I remember Freeway handing out his Facebook name on Milwaukee Public Library Periodical Request Forms at Goolsby's. He also use to be part of a radio ad for them.
HOW MANY TITLES WILL MARQUETTE WIN?
I miss him in the student section. Still remember when he would come late and try to sit in the section behind the basket. Security would tell him it was full and the whole student section would boo until they let him.

Dunno what it is now. They shut it down 3/4 of the way through my senior year (2015) It was on 3rd and Highland.

Re-opened as a country bar called Red White and Blue. Buckhead > RW&B
Buckheads sucked. D-bag central.
The fact that there are students who don't know Freeway furthers my concern about his whereabouts.
My junior year all of my roommates decided to rent a U-Haul and take a road trip to Madison for Halloween. This would have been in the late 80's. On their way out of town they saw Freeway walking down the street. They somehow convinced him to come along. About 15 minutes outside of Milwaukee one of my roommates sharts himself, essentially hot-boxing everyone in the back of the U-Haul. From what I'm told the stench was overwhelming...so overwhelming, in fact, that Freeway threw up. According to my roommate Freeway threw up about half a pound of Skittles.
Buckheads did suck. But it was cheap. So I went.
Sad that Freeway is still around but less of a presence at MU games. It is the biggest indictment of the program IMO

Did you have to keep track of Freeway in Madison? That couldn't have been an easy task.
In 1997, I sat next to Freeway on a bus ride home from County Stadium to campus.
Freeway to me: "What do Brewers fans want more, a consistent winner, or a World Series title?"
Me to Freeway: "I'm not sure.. World Series titles are hard to come by, and one would be great for the franchise. Of course, winning consistently means more opportunities to make the playoffs, which means.."
Freeway interrupting and screaming at me: "WHAT DO FANS WANT MORE: A CONSISTENT WINNER, OR A WORLD SERIES TITLE?"
This went on for the entire bus ride.
I got in a spirited debate with Freeway on the qualifications of Michael Ruffin prior to the B G Classic game in 1998.
Freeway was right.
I was very wrong.
At least he is not on the bench...smh
With Sacar?

In my day Freeways ultimate goal was 40 straight National Championships.
Would have fit in with the expectations of some posters here.
