So it's not just the Go app. I might have to mute it to avoid a migraine, and Dickey Simpkins isn't even announcing.
Establishing Fischer. What a concept
MU's transition defense is dreadful early. Losing the track meet

Gonna need him today?
Getting beat down the court on makes!!! 5 of 9 points for Creighton.
Cheatun jumps n turns it over twice.
Seen this movie
Markus has to be smarter. Taking that 2nd foul this early is gonna hurt.
Just gonna be a long day if MU doesn't get back on transition defense. CU running full speed after MU misses, which so far been quite a few with no makes outside the paint.

Stupid inbounds Fischer play
Letting Marcus be doubleteamed with nowhere to go
Transition defense. If it doesn't improve, Marquette gets rolled
This interview going on while I am
Trying to watch the game is a joke. Enough.
Oh and get back on defense MU!!!
I for one welcome the full screen game again.
Ok, Patton with two fouls, backup Hegner hurt, and MU jacking up threes.
Wojo, how about going to Luke inside with third string on him?
WTF is with the rims?
Let's light it up!

Jay Bilas on Twitter claiming that Fox needs to start paying him.
Like the game is playing out. Our issues, like the made basket transition defense, are fixable at half. Also like how we were going at Patton.
#mubb w/a 26% TO% rate, but they're shooting 66.7% eFG to Creighton's 31.8%. #mubb 32, CU 24. 7:42 left 1H.
Luke with 4 blocks, I think 3 on that one sequence alone.
We're in trouble now. We have a lead.
Anyone else hearing constant squeaking sounds on the broadcast. I'm going to have to mute the broadcast.

When I log on to the FoxGo site, the only FS1 option for me is the Depaul-Butler game. Any idea how I access the MU game?
Every game, Hauser tries to draw a charge, gets called for a block, and has to leave the game
Ah, there is the patented JJJ out-of-control-turnover-walk-back-on-defense move
5 fouls on our point guards. 3 of them dumb
JjJ drives me crazy....

Now it's the three point defense, the same old double teams, then like announcer said, MU going in "scramble mode". Every single game.
Just stupid fouls and turnovers, but MU still in lead. Unreal. These turnovers are just deadly now.
JJJ n Fischer equal defensive meltdowns

Ya turn on Fox.
Announcers made an interesting point about the defense being good in front of the Marquette bench and terrible on the other end. Creighton will adjust at halftime, and the players will be unable to hear the coaches calling out the defenses. Placards?
Reinhardt is a man right now.
We look good so far. R and R are hitting lights out.
Got to hand it to the Creighton fans. That is a tough and intense environment.

Like playing in a high school gym.
My heart can not handle another second half meltdown. I might call the ambulance now...
I don't like this.having a double digit lead at half usually spells disaster.
We've been here before. #mubb out-shooting Creighton 69.7% eFG% to 39.7%. That gap will narrow. 50-40 halftime score.
Will lose by 14 since were only up 10.
#justwinbaby
Luke looking good
13 of CU points from free throw line.
MU with 9 turnovers, 3 by Cheatham, 2 by JJJ
Fischer had 9 points, 6 rebounds, 5 blocks..albit with Patton out, but fantastic so far.
Hauser scoreless and Howard with 2.
No Watson, Patton played 5 fives and Hegner is hurting bad with leg injury. Lets see if MU finally has the fortitude to win one with a second half lead.
I know that Cheatham is out there for defense but I think he's hurting the offense more than he is helping defensively

MU will win this game because watson is out. Not diminishing the value or effort of this soon to be win, but their pg is not watson, not even close.
Sit JjJ 's ass and start Katin
If we can hold Creighton to 61 point in the next half we might have a chance.

Zierden is just a plain shooter and is not Watson. But, he has 9 points and when MU up by 13, he hit a wide open three that cut it to 10. That was a huge shot. Can't leave Zeiden to cover another guy, they will just outlet pass back to him. But then again, thats the MU defense philosophy.
Patton on bench was big, so lets get him back there and maybe control Foster, who is just a player.

Creighton isn't shooting the ball as well as Butler did last game

Really? His decision making is so bad... So many no-look passes that miss, choosing low percentage highlight reel shots instead of just putting it in, forcing it sometimes and then being lazy others. I cringe every time he's got the ball in his hands.
They won the first eight minutes of the second half and I'll finish strong guys
Lotta JJJ hate today... It was all love after the Butler game ::)
Great move by wojo to bench fischer and jjj there. Seemed to hold the tide without the dumb plays by the two of them.
At no point during this game have I felt concerned that Creighton would win. Patton getting his fourth only increases that confidence. I think we get this. Anyone know the last time we beat a top-10 team on the road? [/kissofdeath]

Total team effort today
DePaul is up two over Butler in overtime right now with a minute 54 left
Make your bleeping free throws.
This team is simply not capable of putting a game away
Tums & Fingernails disappearing quickly...... :o (NOT)
Why isnt rowsey in? Dont want a 90% shooter?
We've heard this song before
My god, cover Zierden please, and stop the terrible double team. Stay on your man.
Now let's make the free throws because that's what gonna happen now.
Get your FT shooters in. If you make your free throws, you win the game.
Rebound their Miss shots and the game is ours
When was the last time Marquette scored 100 points in a Big East game?
Haani mistake again at the end, hold on
Seriously. Time may run out on Creighton.
But we sure as heck didn't put it away.
The first person who says the inability to CLOSE is on Wojo needs to be punched HARD in the face or cajones......the players need to step-up and break thru
Wojo sweating worse than Buzz.

Said a different way we have similar kenpom ratings to Pitt and mich and couldn't pull it out.
Credit to the boys and Wojo!
If I were a Creighton fan, I'd be ticked they wasted 30 seconds around the minute mark.
Great win! Not how we want to close it out, but it counts just the same. Plus, we got over the hump I think. This should help down the road.

Velazquez tweeted out that Wojo compiled and watched all the film of Creighton without Watson this year. When I saw that, I knew we had this. Not sure why, but I never had a doubt.
Watching Creighton today, their biggest problem was that they tried to be the same team without Watson they were with him. Early on it worked, they got those transition baskets after our makes, and Mintz was doing great going up and down the court, but they were never going to be the same team. Players weren't getting the ball where they were used to, the offense just couldn't adapt. And in the second, once we got them down, there was no one to lead them back.
I saw all the panic on Twitter when Creighton started to get some baskets late, but personally, I never had a doubt. That said, I had severe doubts when we were up 5 on Wisconsin at the half and up 16 on Butler at the half. This one just felt different.

Not ranked, but March 9, 2016 at St. John's ...101 points at MSG. That was the only road win in at least 16 years where MU scored 100.
In the Final Four year (2003), MU scored 101 against Miizzu and won at a neutral NCAA site (# 25).
More history with this team. This time it is positive.
Just watched the game on dvr. Would thought by the comments here that we got our butts kicked. Instead we led a top ten by double digits most of the game and won at their place. Our fans really need a tourney appearance slump buster.
