I thought it was worse then apparently it turned out to be. Looked pretty bad and he was limping around a ton. What will it do for Saturday's game.
DJ has played super this year and really stroked it well tonight along with some brilliant passes. Hoping he can go against WVU and then the quick turnaround next week.
he has two full days to heal, so hopefully it will be OK. West Virginia on the road will be a good test.
cramps
it was definitely a foot roll.. they showed a replay afterwards from across the court and you can see his foot go heal up - ouch.
I am very worried about his ankle. Once the ankle stiffens up on him, it is going to be a lot worse. Hoping he can be effective on Saturday but after seeing the injury I would find it hard to believe that he will be anywhere close to 100%.

I agree....I think that's one reason why Crean kept him out there some, to keep the blood flowing to the ankle and keep it loose.
No question it's going to stiffen up and swell. It looked pretty bad.
Although it would be unfortunate to have DJ out, we have come a long way since the days of depending on Diener and his 3 pt shots. If DJ is out, Acker and Cube can provide reliable back up minutes to allow DJ to get some rest. However, I bet DJ plays today.
I'm actually not worried at all. He played hurt so much during his freshman year and played great that I know he'll be fine. Actually I was hoping for an ankle roll or something last year when he was struggling based on how well he played hurt. Plus, you have to remember that our significant injuries don't happen during games ;)
