The Washington Post - the newspaper the president-elect loves to hate and the one he actually banned from covering his events - is so profitable that it is increasing its newsroom staff by 8%. That doesn't sound like much, but in this day and age it is practically an Army of journalists.

The NY Times, which Trump likes to call "the failing New York Times," also is generating major profits.
Even most of those who don't like much of what major metro newspapers do realize that we need these journalists to uncover corruption and expose hypocrites.
And hey, it seems some folks who aren't allergic to facts still like the mainstream media.
But those who prefer "truthiness" need not worry ... Fox News is doing well, too!
That is good news! What this country needs is more reporting with an incredibly liberal bias! ::)

Only because you immediately made it a partisan thing.
The Post and other major papers, including right-leaning ones like the WSJ, are very important to our democracy. I fear the day when they no longer can make money and go out of business.

It's not just liberal bias, it's
incredibly liberal bias!
;)
It is good news. We need legitimate reporting and investigative journalism, now more than other.
And it shouldn't be political. You are right in including the conservative WSJ in this group.
I have found this infographic to be quite helpful and enlightening. Most of my news sources are on the very top bubble....The Economist, WSJ, Guardian, etc.

I'm gonna shut this down. But do find the infographic helpful (from a guy that often doesn't know the leanings of the news source he is reading).
