4. Sam 26, KR 14.

Not a bad guess. My only question is whether you have JjJ just a tad low.

That is up to JJ. If he makes himself indispensable, my projection is low. If he plays poorly, it is high.
HC doesn't deserve 30 minutes based on his play but OTOH nobody else is playing well enough to take his minutes.
No Sam at the 5?
Solid guess Tower. I think Hauser and Reinhardt might both regress to the mean a bit and result in more even playing time.

Doesn't seem like we have a lot of guys...but I like that players get a decent chance. We know Duane can do more. Opportunities for everyone.
I'd like to see Wojo use Duane to cut into KR's minutes, especially if Howard, Hauser, or Rowsey are making shots. Giving Duane the green light in a second unit setup with Matt could rest Fischer and hides Duane's inclination toward inefficiency and plays to his strengths.

Ha. In 0.2 minutes! I love that kid.
I'm feeling he see more minutes than most Walk.
Cut Reinhardt's minutes drastically as the season slips away and younger guys need and earn more playing time.

I still think Reinhardt "progress toward the mean" as the season goes on. This is statistically his worse shooting season. I don't think he forgot how to shoot during the plane ride to Milwaukee.

You think Howard will only play 22 minutes a game? No less than 28 here on out without Carter. He played 34 against Wisconsin.

Yes. All of these are on a sliding scale. If Rowsey is hot and Howard isn't, it could easily go 25-15 in Rowsey's favor.

And if they're both hot maybe they'll be on the court together and log more than 40 minutes.

Big East play hasn't even started yet and you've already got our entire season slipping away. You also obviously missed the Wisconsin game to see some of the things Reinhardt can contribute.

I don't necessarily read it that way. From the Wisconsin game, Reinhardt contributed one thing - he can bomb. But he was also in no man's land - close enough to the ball to be visible, but not actively defending anyone - on a ton of defensive lapses. If Howard and Rowsey are making shots, KR seems duplicative, so why not give the younger guys those minutes.
Caveat is if the advanced stats show we're just better off loading the floor with shooters and trying to outrun and outgun everybody - i.e. Howard, Rowsey, Reinhardt, Cheatham, Hauser. If running that lineup as the alternate to our starters keeps us in the tournament discussion, you kind of have to ride it even though it has obvious limitations.
