Before beating Georgia yesterday, Marquette had lost its last 6 road games of non-conference play excluding the Wisconsin series.
16-17: Won 89-79 @Georgia
15-16: N/A
14-15: Lost 74-63 @Ohio State
13-14: Lost 79-77 @Arizona State
12-13: Lost 82-49 @Florida AND Lost 49-47 @UWGB
11-12: Lost 67-59 @LSU
10-11: Lost 77-76 @Vanderbilt
The last win?
10-11: Won 75-72 @UW-Milwaukee (does that even count as a road game?)
Doesn't really mean anything. Just a random fun fact. Nice of the Bulldogs to play the role of slumpbuster.
Woof, I forgot that Florida game was that bad.
Hmmm, wild it has been that long.
I remember all of those games, including the close win at UWM, but for some reason cannot for the life of me remember the game @ OSU in Wojo's first year. I suppose that whole season was pretty forgetful.

Not as close as the score indicates, IIRC.
Was the Ohio State game where Steve Taylor had quite a few dunks?
We've actually done pretty well in Madison the past few years winning 2 of last 3 trips up there.

I did too, because that was probably the last time I got blackout drunk. My rehearsal dinner was that night and all the people that missed my bachelor party took me out after the dinner. Saw maybe 30 seconds of the game and we were already down 20, so I just went to drinking.
What was the last road win before that? NC State?
EDIT: Checked and it was NC State back in 2008. The Dominic James three.
Wow, all these neutral site games and tournaments have really taken away from the number of true nonconference road games. But why play home & homes when you can play in a glorified high school gym or a 3/4 empty Madison Square Garden?
I realize there are a lot of financial realities to deal with that I'm ignoring.
Looking at the two wins in Madison.
Last year it was Fischer tipping in the Ellenson miss with 26 seconds to go, as MU won it's 7th straight game in route to a 10-2 start on the season.
2011 a 61-54 over the #9 Badgers. Mayo 14 off the bench and Derrick Wilson stepping up as Cadougan was suspended.
How long ago was this? Kaminsky came off the bench and played 5 minutes spelling Jared Berggren.

Was at that game. Probably my favorite game of my college career.
