She was boning her oldest "son" Greg during filming.

It was a great Friday night lineup ABC had (for a kid my age at the time) ...

Brady Bunch ... Partridge Family ... Room 222 ... Odd Couple ... Love American Style.

Love American Style was so "randy" for the time. Now it would be considered tame (and lame).

I believe that during the Brady Bunch run, other shows in that lineup included That Girl and Nanny & The Professor. Watched 'em all. I had no life.

Of course, the greatest lineup in TV history was the Saturday night lineup on CBS: Mary Tyler Moore ... Bob Newhart ... MASH ... All In The Family ... Carol Burnett. Every one of them groundbreaking and absolutely iconic. Nothing ever has been close.

NBC had some pretty awesome Thursday lineups in the '80s, though, achored by Cheers, Cosby, Family Ties and Hill Street Blues; later Friends and ER.

Have you been checked for diabetes?

Anything by Sherwood Schwartz was awful.

Keefe, have you been off the grid too long? Yikes!

Seriously, until the show deals with the sexual tension associated with four men and three women stuck alone on an island, well, it's garbage. Especially when one of the three women tossed her sexuality around like water.

Same with the Bradys. You can't tell me you throw together eight people, four of each gender, mix the family and the hierarchy together, add in a gay father and expect harmony. That many kids in one place, even with Alice, and it would be a miracle on par with the loaves and fishes to avoid a heavy body count. I don't care how nice Florence Henderson was, that many kids from a blended family that close together and you've got chaos.

Period.

The Professor could make a washing machine out of palm leaves and a go-kart out of coconuts ... but he couldn't lash together a few logs and vines to make an effen raft.

Gotta love it!

Remember though, they couldnt build a raft or the series would end  ;)

Gotta give credit to Mary Ann and Ginger for still managing to maintain their fancy hairstyles and full makeup (including false eyelashes) even after years on the island.

Not to mention having all the costumes necessary to put on a musical version of "Hamlet".

Looks like the mods changed up the protocols for posting video. Maybe they could post the new instructions for completing that task.

Maybe the reason the boat had problems was the cargo on board. It was totally illogical for the Castaways to have that much luggage for a three hour cruise around the Oahu beaches and harbors.

Also made no sense that they would let Gilligan around anything important, like, say, the ship's radio. And what about Howell with all that cash? Did the Skipper ever file an SAR on Howell? Was Howell hiding it from the IRS, running a drug operation or laundering it for an international crime cartel?

Agree with much of this as we are roughly the same age, but how could you forget Seinfeld in NBC's Thursday night lineups?

What killed those nights is that they seemed to always have a dog somewhere in the middle, like Caroline in the City or whatever that terrible show with Jonathan Silverman and Ernest Borgnine was.  Also, I suppose Love, American Style was randy, because it wasn't allowed at my house.

At least the knock-off starring Patrick Duffy and the Thighmistress was a bit more believable.

I'm still looking for that roller coaster in Port Washington, however.
