He may not have led us in scoring, but he sure as hell did everything else. Gotta be Duane Wilson. Played with veteran swag tonight. Easiest call of the year so far.
(Walk ons are in, not too early for this thread)
Duane
Duane but I wouldn't complain about Haanif.
Wojo.
SwaggyDu. 6 assists, 0 turnovers. Very controlled game.
Great team effort against a respectable cupcake....lots to like tonight but I agree Duane was the stud and deserves the title tonight.
IUPUI.
IUPUI's D
Haanif is in the discussion.. but Duane was so smooth tonight. Swaggy gets my vote in a close one.
DW zero TO's
DW.
Carry it forward to conference play. We need ya
Jimmy Mac said Hauser on the post game. He loves his rebounds.
1. SwaggyDu
2. Haanif
3. Cam
Ten choices. Let's start eliminating.....
Luke, no, pick and roll lapses, foul trouble
Matt, no, foul trouble, though some good moments.
KR, no, the only guy really forcing shots tonight.
Rowsey, no, too many missed 3's.
Howard, no, showed moxie, but not enough production.
JjJ, under control, but, like Howard, not enough production.
TC, no, kind of a non factor. Didn't hurt us, some nice early assists.
Hauser, no, defensive lapses early. Has he missed an uncontested 3 yet this year?
Duane, solid on defense, made his open 3's, drove to the hoop under control, 6 assists, no TO's. If he wins, I'm good with that.
HC, good defense, relentless to the basket every minute he was on the floor. If he wins, I'm good with that, too.
Du also lead the team in steals and was 5-6 from the floor. I vote Du
1) Duane
1A) Cheatham
1B) Sam
1C) Luke
Duane played great and was a team leader he deserved it. The assists were good and most impressive was the leaping drive he made toward the end of the game. Showed he has his lift back.
Haanif had a very good game as well.
JJJ played withing the flow of the game and did many things well. So he earns honorable mention.

Ho. Ly. Sh1t.
Didn't look at any stats, didn't look at any posts. The guy I thought was the biggest difference when he was in there was Duane Wilson. He gets my vote.
A Du Du Du, a Wil Wil Wil
Haanif. Loved to see Duane do well though.
Duane
Haney a close 2nd

But Wojo went with Du
Haani.
Looked like a senior leader tonight
KPom went with Du as well.
Loved Duane's game tonight. Very much under control and intelligent. It would be hard to argue against Haani, though.
And I happen to agree with MFINY about JJJ as a solid honorable mention. After a poor start, Sam was quite good.

Yeah, me too. Was surprised to hear Hauser. He was good on the glass, but he really didn't near grab attention the way Duane did.
1. Swaggy Du
2. Hannie
3. The Hauserwizter
Honorable Mention: Deon Franklin for that block
Duane in a photo finish over Cheatham.
Duane
Kenpom says Duane, with his 197 ORtg in 21 minutes
Dude's gotta get more run. Go small if needed. Duane, Cheatham, and Luke have been our most consistently good players this year.

Maybe Duane was efficient because he got the right amount of "run." I thought the rotation was pretty good in this game. Everybody seemed quite fresh and energetic throughout.
One of Wojo's challenges this season will be to find the hot hands and use them properly. We have 7, 8, 9 guys who can really be effective on a given day ... and also who can be really off on a given day.

I may have been misunderstood, I didn't think he deserved more than 21 in a blowout. Just meant he should be getting 20+ minutes every night, for the very reason you noted. The team struggles with consistency. Our most consistent players should play the most, and he has been one of them.

Fair assessment. We are on the same page.

Shut er down, I have spoken.
Three Wins, 3 different Studs, I like it. More Please.
It's a real bummer Du hasn't earned his minutes yet ::)
