Title: After the 2-2 starts and sandman transfer
Post by: GoldenDieners32 on November 20, 2016, 06:54:33 PM
Where do you think this team stands after losing 2 bad games this weekend and a player leaning the program?

2-2 with some cupcakes coming up, and down one man at the end of the bench.

My feeling continues to be we will take 8th in the conference. I felt Sandy could add some defensive value along the way and believe his mid season departure is not helpful. Would have preferred that he stayed the whole year and then transferred.

I get the cupcake term, but IUPUI lost to Michigan only by 12. It was just last year they took Marquette to overtime.  :-\

I'm not worried about any of it to tell you the truth. Long time to go in the season. As to Sandy, sorry to see him go but as 4ever says next man up.

Odd timing. Why now and not at end of semester? Right decision for him, he wasn't going to see the floor.

We just need every one to rebound and play defense

I'm just thankful that Sandy didn't go to Minnesota originally.  If he had, we'd now all have to endure all the usual suspects saying; "We've got to get this guy!!!"

Because if he would have gone to Minnesota he would have transferred out of Minnesota because he was a Buzz leftover here? Don't follow that logic.

Forcing Sacar into the action?  Otherwise down to 10 players, after yet again self-imposing a scholarship penalty on the program for failure to fill the allotted number of scholarships.

Isn't the reason The Chief is transferring is he was the last man up so far this season?

Gets a lot of personal time back between now and the end of the semester.  No more practices, team meetings, etc. to attend.

I don't think right away anyway.  Someone can relinquish a redshirt at any point in the season.  Only injury would dictate that.

How right you are!  John Dawson could be tearing it up for MU right now!!

No, he would have transferred out of Minnesota because he wouldn't have played much there either.  But some people would be convinced that he'd be a great get as a transfer just because we would have missed on him initially.
