Yo, Wocky.
Calling a 5 point MU win, Sam SOTG
Nervous about this one. A loss wouldn't surprise me.
WTF - gray?????
JJJ
JJJ great pass. love his vision.
Wasn't this supposed to start at 8:30? Just turned on and it's already 10-5
Going to have to figure out how to defend the pick and roll.

Can someone tell the announcers that the guy on Carter flopped. He was barely touched.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought it looked like a flop on the replay
4-5 3 pt shooting! Were doomed if we can't defend that.
Boy some tuff breaks so far.
Size matters. If UM rains 3s all night, turn off the TV and go to bed
Luke is kind of a dud.
MU not guarding the 3.
Oh boy
8 turnovers in 9 minutes
If the pick and roll is either going to be a layup or an open three need to play some zone.
Wojo again showing he cannot teach how to defend the pick and roll.
No excuse for this crap again.
My fear coming true. They are struggling on the perimeter defensively.
Matt Heldt, the human foul machine. One minute, two fouls. Just not very good.
Lots of self inflicted wounds
Held keeping up his foul a minute pace
I've very over these bad first halves...
MU just not well coached.
MU is a 1 pt favorite.
Freaking ref show so far. They seem really pleased with themselves. After the out of bounds ball, both visibly shook their heads like "I didn't see it" and gave UM the ball.

At least he made this one worth it. If you're gonna foul, knock the hell out of them going to the rim.
R-E-L-A-X
Poorly coached team.
Same old, same old.
Piss poor play so far and piss poor officiating.
Why does MU insist on extending the defense?
Why is the band not there?? Michigan band sounding good
10 TOs? Wow.
Still foul a bunch too

The band is playing Ring Out Ahoya right now.
This seems like a case of everything having gone well for us for two games; reason says we are owed a game where everything goes wrong.
Unfortunately, it happened to be paired with a game where everything is going perfect for Michigan.
Beilein is eating Wojo's lunch.

Terrible half for MU. Game is over so just teach em up in the 2nd half.
Nice passes by J and hc
These announcers suck. Who gives a s*** if it takes 17 muscles to smile
The lack of offense is whatever, guys go cold and shots don't fall but the pick and roll defense is a major major concern
A game like this isn't going to help get the students interested and engaged in the basketball program again.
Wojo got slack for being a rookie coach but that leeway should not last forever.
we're shooting 56% and losing by 22. Yikes.

Humbling
crash back to reality. wojo still can't coach

We have a bunch of fans who have been sitting on their thumbs the first 2 games and now suddenly we're getting blown out and out of the woodwork they come, sounding like a bunch of 3 year old babies because we're going to lose a game.
Where are our great shooters? We have a lot of options so the entire team can't possible go cold.
With luck, this will be the worst half of basketball this year

Thank you. 20 minutes is a lot of basketball. Even 1 minute is a lot to a team facing Georgetown!
Gut check time. Let us see what the team is made of.
Then there's hope, just sucks in the moment
It seems like every pass Michigan makes is to an open man or someone who creates space to be open. Every MU pass goes to someone with a Michigan guy immediately closing, giving the MU guy no room to get a shot off. We are that slow and they are quick.

I'm getting old. I can't remember.
Was MU really favored by 1 going in to this game?
I think this game shows our lack of height is going to hurt this year. If we don't take care of the ball that makes it worse.
50, ugh. Have we practiced the zone yet this year, or is that always implemented after we get wrecked?

we ain't just losing, we are getting our arses kicked on espn. mu fans are getting restless. if the team keeps playing like this against competitive teams and the losses start piling up it will get worse. getting recruits only gets a coach so far. at some point you've got to win

I mean, there's losing a game and then there's this. Our alternates should be brown so it's less embarrassing as we crap ourselves.
Fischer looks like he has never defended a pick and roll in his life. One of the worst defensive halves I have seen MU have in quite awhile.

We're clearly getting beat, but the talent between these two is much closer than the score indicates. Bad as we've been, Michigan really isn't all that impressive.
We've been a second half team all season. So, we've got 'em right where we want 'em.
Time to start shooting from the outside and stop relying on Fischer, whose shot is not on tonight.
Didn't think it was possible to match their last performance in the Garden, but they have.
14 turnovers, 11 field goals made. Not a good ratio. Believe 4 screen fouls and 3 offensive fouls.
Pick and rolls at first, then just like last year double team, kick out for open three. Defensive strategy the same and sort of not working.
Rheinhardt had 3 points, 3 fouls and 3 turnovers.
MU only took like five outside shots, everything else was drives which were missed or altered by Michigan,s size. Just abit perplexed about that.
Hope the size factor and lack of a big PF doesn't hurt team all year, because Heldt is just not ready.
Wojo will have nice discussion with the guys and maybe come out fighting a little better.
not a very disciplined effort, lol

Michigan's defense pretty much smothering them on the perimeter. Very few open looks for us.
Let's respect the process. :(
Like I said, a bunch of chicken littles. I don't care if we lose by 79 on ESPN or by 1 with no broadcast in 5 overtimes. A loss is a loss. Some people get into moral victories. Not my thing personally. Different strokes for different folks.

Soooooo, what's everybody drinking? Glad I picked up the 32oz can.
This looks a lot like last year. 1 pass and then drive to the hoop. Lots of standing around on offense. MU seems intimidated by Mich's size/length.
The D is really bad. Doubling, getting off balance or out of position to close on the 3's. Mich knocking down open shots much like MU did vs Vandy.
The tough part is once the roster balances out between front and back court Fischer is gone. Feel bad for him. He's a good player.
14 turnovers, 3 Three point attempts, no points by a non-starter.

This is what's irritating me. If you want to build a team around 4 shooters then drive and kick and let it fly. Don't abandon what you built yourself to be because you had some early struggles.
We outscored Vanderbilt by 25 in the second half. Michigan should be absolutely freaking terrified right now. Terrified. They didn't do near enough in the first half.

Guys, this sucks...but we all would have taken 3-1. Let's beat Pitt tomorrow.
Bad officiating, bad announcing, bad basketball.
Even their travels are working out nicely for Michigan
Normally I don't mind Fran, but he is awful tonight. Ravech is also rough.
They also seem to think they're calling an intrasquad scrimmage for Michigan.
We look like an overmatched high school team
I don't know how many times Luke is going to leave his man completely undefended under the hoop
There we go, more Hauser, less Rheinhardt. He played terrible tonight. Get Sam more experience.
Is there're a cachnout threr? Seriously, Wojo has one year. The new ne has a short year to show they have been prepared.

Is #5 for Michigan wearing a singlet?
" A lot of people are moving out of the city..... warmer climes".
If there were 12 minutes left we might have a chance. Amazing what happens when you just don't turn the ball over.
Reinhardt needs to know when to stop shooting. 1-9 tonight and 1-6 from 3-point land. I'm not sure why he gets so much playing time.
Still not that impressed with Michigan. They've had so many lucky shots bounce in, while Luke alone has had at least 8 points go in and out. Deserved win for them, but not convinced remotely they are the better team. They just had everything go right while we had everything go wrong.
Jesus we had the ball 3X's to cut the lead to single digits and such poor decision making. Reinhardt is just a volume guy. He gets his points by taking an NBA volume of shots. Dude has 15 shots tonight. 2 makes. What's his eFG?

We're winning the 2nd half. It's just that they clobbered the 1st half.
And I know it's not much of a victory. But usually if a team is so much better than you, they'll pull away the 2nd half.
Had plenty of chances in the 2nd half, just couldn't get a number of good looks to go.
Ugh... mich just hit every shot. Gotta bounce back hard tomorrow.
Never quit. That's something positive. The way the 1st half went they could have lost by 40.
Once we stopped turning the ball over in the second half things tightened up. Gotta maintain control of the rock, and definitely can't give it up on unforced errors like traveling, illegal screens, and bad passes. Gotta beat Pitt tomorrow, or the NCAAs become a distant pipe dream.
Traci keeps playing like that n howards gonna play 30 mins a game
