Title: The Economist: MBA under pressure
Post by: Chicos' Buzz Scandal Countdown on October 13, 2016, 03:24:47 PM
Annual rankings are always fun fodder for those of us plunking down $140k+ for another sheet of sheepskin. Beyond The Economist's ranking of Best MBA programs (http://www.economist.com/whichmba/full-time-mba-ranking?fsrc=scn/fb/te/bl/ed/2016mbabusinessschoolrankingswhichmba), interesting article about the future of the degree (http://www.economist.com/news/business/21708714-full-time-mba-under-pressure-specialist-degrees-and-online-education-campus-vs-beach).

From my amateur view, seems like a lot of compression toward the top (M7 schools (http://poetsandquants.com/2015/01/05/the-m7-the-super-elite-business-schools-by-the-numbers/)). I honestly wonder what the future of programs like those at MU are, and how much longer the school will offer a traditional MBA, rather than some kind of suite of more focused degrees. Maybe we're already seeing it?
