Marian Central athletic director Curtis Price was pleased to meet Bulls guard Jimmy Butler and let him use the Hurrricanes' gym this week, but did not make the news public to protect Butler's privacy.
Price himself played at DePaul in the early 1990s and assistant coach Tony Jones played at Purdue around the same time. But neither have ties to Butler, who played at Marquette.
"For the sake of his privacy, I can't say who asked," Price said. "He wanted it to be private, that's why we didn't broadcast it or say anything. I thought it was kind of funny a Marquette guy asking a DePaul guy for a favor. I just know they asked if he could come here and work out and I said, 'Sure.' "
Not really anything new. Don't we all ask the to get us coffee, bring our lunch, vacuum our offices?
Now now now let's not be cruel. Marquette people and DePaul people have more in common than you'd think. For example, we could all get into DePaul.

We are having a debate on Superbar about this.
Marquette acceptance rate 74 % DePaul 72%.
